par for the course nothing major here

probably not...I guess it would be more telling if he DID NOT visit....I try to keep track of the visits because 99 percent of time...the first pick is from that group right now the only big names yet to visit or heard are visiting are Beasley, Dupree, Fowler (maybe they don't want to waste visit since he will be gone plus Bowles was at his pro day) and Collins and Scherrf.."second tier guys" that visited Peat, Harold

I mentioned this the other day, but after hearing White's interview, I am very impressed with this kid, and he might turn out to be the best WR in this class.

He might turn out to be the best PLAYER in this class.

I think the two best players in this draft are the WR's, Cooper and White, followed by Williams and Fowler.

Funny how the minds eye works, for a second I saw Walter White to visit

The more appropriate White should be available according to all the mocks they show on the NFL channel scroll. Yes? No?

Still would like an edge rusher though ...

Yea, I have liked this kid more than Cooper all along, not that I'd pass by either of them. I actually kind of hope that this is our BPA at #6

that's hard to say. it seems many think there's a good chance that one of the WRs go before we pick. if this turns out to be the case, the question is is it white or cooper that gets taken first?

i've always believed with all/most things being equal go with the bigger, stronger faster athlete..

i would be more excited about picking white over the best edge rusher left on the board than doing the same with cooper..

Just heard Tony Pauline..a very respected draft guy..saying Cooper at this stage of the game is better from standpoint of YAC and White is 2 years older so has a more NFL ready body

It's been sooooooooooooo long since the Jets have had an awesome offense. It would be nice to have a lot of weapons for once. If they think Cooper or White are game changers, I'd be fine with either. Of course we still need a qb, but helping with the line, and weapons will only help.

I think Williams is the top player in this class. I'm surprised that is debatable. I guess it is in some ways, but he seems as close of a sure thing as a draft pick can be...he's least boom or bust prospect I can think of. Even with coopers impressive 40 times, you gotta wonder how a 20 year old holds up mentally and physically in an NFL with the likes of Sherman, Revis, Peterson, etc covering him as a #1 WR if he goes to Oakland, Jax, etc...if he came here and starts as a #3 and develops physically and mentally over time, I think there's a higher likelihood of long term success with Marshall and Decker working with the kid.

I feel white may be a boom or bust prospect, but his upside is waaaaaaay higher than Cooper. If Cooper develops well, he can be Reggie wayne. White looks like he could develop into Andre Johnson. Both nice players, but as someone else said...the guy who is taller, bigger, strong, faster, and caught 110 passes last season has the higher upside and if he falls in our laps will be as nice catch.

I still say Cooper goes 1 of the WRs but White, Beckam, or Perriman will be the best WR when we look back on this class.

Super,

I like Williams a lot and I know he's the chalk #1 player in this draft, and the chalk might be right, he's a terrific talent with an enormous upside, but the reason I have the two WR's ahead of Williams and Fowler is their sacks numbers are not what I like to see from the proverbial best player in the draft. Granted thats not everything and there are extenuating circumstances, and that doesn't mean they won't be impact pass rushers at the next level, I think they will, but it didn't happen in college to the degree that it needed to happen for me to put them ahead of Cooper and White.

MY TOP 4

1. Kevin White
2. Amari Cooper
3. Leonard Williams
4. Dante Fowler

I think your selling Amari Cooper a little short. The GOAT Wr - Jerry Rice showed just how important route running is in the NFL.( Amari Cooper route running is far superior to any Wr in this class. When you have that skill , it's hard not to like his chances over the long haul, than the physically more opposing Wr's in this class. (See Stephen Hill - size and speed can only take you so far.

Leonard Williams is only 20 years old. Imagine what he might be in two years when he physically matures. Could be looking at Reggie White type of defensive lineman.

I still get the sense Raiders are going defense with their first pick. if Leonard Williams some how makes it to four, he will be there pick. Could see them trading down some to acquire more picks.

Cooper is the better WR coming out of College and will be the better WR in the NFL... IF both are there you take Cooper over White 11 times out of 10... And that's not a knock on White. I like the kid, I'd be happy if we picked him. As long as Cooper is off the board... and Not gonna lie I like DeVante Parker over White too. So Take Cooper, Parker then White. in that order depending on availability.

Most of the greatest wrs of all time are 6'2 and above -

Jerry Rice
CHRIS carter
RANDY moss
TO
Calvin Johnson
LARRY Fitzgerald
ANDRE johnson

Could he be Torry Holt or Marain Harrison? The shorter great wrs? Sure. But if I have the choice of a 6'2 220lbs 4.3 Wr or a 6'1-6'0 WR that runs in the 4.4 range, I take the big guy.

Truth is, of a WR is 6'0 or 6'1, I prefer them to be solid built like Boldin. Cooper passes that test at a solid 210. I like cooper a lot...I just like a guy who is an inch taller, jumps higher, and blazes and has shown proven success (the Stephen hill comparisons are stupid, Hill caught 29 total balls or something like that in college, White caught 110 balls last year, like comparing Kerley's NFL production to Andre Johnson's).

I'd be happy with either guy, because I think Cooper is going to be successful and be a Holt or Harrison type. It's just I prefer of Calvin Johnson type wrs over Marvin Harrison types.
