On ProFootballTalk's PFT Live, Washington LB Shaq Thompson stated that he's "drawn the most interest from the Panthers."
The Panthers could look to Thompson as a long term option to replace LB Thomas Davis, who was also a converted safety they drafted back in 2005. With Thompson's versatility, he could make an immediate impact in the secondary or could be used as a linebacker. The Panthers would have solid group, with Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis and Shaq Thompson patrolling the middle of the field
