The difference is that Bowles has updated and adapted things to 1. fit the strengths and talents of the players he has and 2. to fit the NFL offenses of the 21st century

If he had a better QB it would have worked. I'd say that the Seahawks are ground and pound.

If Rex defense could get a turnover or create field position his offense may have been better. Rex is a very good defense coach but I expected the defense to do more than keep the team in the game..all the draft picks and most resources went to that side of the ball.

The seahawks run a lot of read option. Not very 60's
