Green Bay seems to do fairly well with green. Eagles too.

And those Nike horrors....UGH

Not a matter of doing well or not, just saying that it is a horrible color. Do you own a green suit or do you see women in green dresses (as a rule?). Do you own a pair of green dress shoes? How many green cars to you see? How about houses painted green? You can get green guitars but they make very few of them and they are the last ones left on the shelves. Even our green money pales in comparison to all other currencies I have played with over the years. That's all I'm saying. Our colors suck!

Honestly, I like our uniforms. I even like the occasional green pants.

My favorite combo is the white jersey and green pants.

Then again, my least favorite is the green jersey and green pants.

i don't think green uniforms "suck" just because they're green.. IMO, the oakland A's have always had great looking uniforms.. besides why should the goal be to look like everyone else anyway?? the jets classics jerseys (home & away) have a very distinct look about them.. works for me anyway..

OK, how about this for a compromise ... if we have to be green, the classic unis with plenty of white work quite well

I don't care which unis they go to (besides the old Titan unis) I just want them to add the color black to it. In fact, I can't remember the year (I think it was in the 90's). I believe they lasted about two years they went with green, white and black. The helmets were all Green with the Jets logo in White and the facemask were Black. Those were my favorites but they were gone just like that. What happened?

Note: There were also that year the NFL had that promotion going to have three separate unis in their team colors. The Jets went with black that year also. This was a separate time from what I mentioned above. What happened to that also?

I agree!! As a matter of fact, I would wear the white jersey/green pants at home.

I wouldn't mind that, especially early in the season. Make the other guys wear dark jerseys that absorb the heat.

White over green is my favorite also then green over white. The all green all white looks would stay in the closet forever is it was my choice.

We have been focusing on the jersey and pants but I think our helmet logo could use some improvement. To be honest I am not sure what I would like to see. I am just ready for a change.

I could see that. Nothing too groundbreaking, but I'd like to keep it white. QBs say they can see white helmets downfield better.

Change the helmet logo a bit, add black trim, and go with that. Nothing wholesale. But a more modern "NY" with some jet motif in the logo. Keep the white base, the green stripes, and the green oval. Add a little black trim and an updated logo, and go to town.

How about taking the old Jets logo, and putting it, in white, in the green oval? Add a bit of black trim, a thin black trim around the oval and stripes on the helmet, black facemasks, and black trim on the numbers and stripes on the unis?
