Not a terrible-looking team, but one that's more than ready for a makeover. The Namath-era look no longer works and the franchise has felt dysfunctional on multiple levels for years now, so a visual reboot would be a good place to start. OK, Nike -- get crackin'. (And while we're waiting for that, would it kill them to come out with a New York Sack Exchange throwback? That's long overdue.)

Throwback is great...unless it's the Jets. Then again, if the Jets went more modern, they'd get blasted for changing a classic look.

What wouldn't be a bad choice would be to make subtle changes, like were made in the early 1990s. When they took the green and white, and added that black trim, making the stripe thinner on the pants, and bringing in the green pants for the whites, I liked it. Why not consider a little black trim to these unis?

Just a minor change, but it would make things stand out a bit more. Keep the pants the way they are, with the double stripe, while adding trim at the edges.

i could live with black trim added to the current uniforms.. going back to a lighter shade of green would make the contrast sharper as well.. it could be a really good look, IMO..

that said, i would hate some radical "look at me" oregon style uniforms though..

when we finally win our second SB it would be that much more satisfying for me if we're in our classic uniforms..

As far as the current unis I hate the all solid looks. I think we should always wear the different pants/jersey combination.

As to changing things up I am all for Sacks Idea of adding a 3rd color and like black as well.

Honestly, I like our uniforms. I even like the occasional green pants.

I do not pretend to even know where to start in designing new uniforms, but I would love to say yay or nay to whatever Nike or whom ever else decides to try and redesign our uniforms.

This came out in 2012 when Nike was taking over from Reebok. A fan designed these for all the teams and they were leaked as if they were the actual Nike concept designs for the new season.

Given what they have to work with, I say stay with the early era home and away uniforms, never wear anything other than white pants and do the 80's uniforms on throwback days

The problem with the Jets uniforms are that they are green, a color that should only be reserved for trees and vegetables. Werblin switched to that color because he was born on St. Paddy's day, right? Now we all have to wear green and it really is not pretty.

It's a new era and we want to distance ourselves from SOJ, right? They should change back to blue and gold. It would be interesting. Never happen though.

I know that is the story that was given but those are also Hess corp colors and Leon was part of the group that purchased the team right when the colors were changed

Good point ... and one of the better reasons to move away from the green color.

Green Bay seems to do fairly well with green. Eagles too.
