I've had the NFL Ticket since 2001 and can't go without it. I've called and the base price this year is $250 and $350 (which includes the Redzone and fantasy stuff). If you start complaining like you're going to disconnect they will give you $30 off ($5 off each month for 6 months). Having it in your home is still best and when I compare it to going to one game it seems like a bargain.

I got Ticket with redzone this year for 4 payments of $41. They initially started at $9 off a month of just the ticket, but when I told them to remove it entirely offered this deal. Plus they game me $12 off for 12 months, so ticket costs about $90 over the normal 6 month span.

It's also a bargain when compared with the cost of food and beer at sportsbars.

I cancelled my subscription two days ago, but they were trying to give me deals left to right to keep me. Try it. They went from 10% of to 30% off.

I gotta be honest, i normally wait until week 7 or 8 to add it on. If the Jets are on a playoff push, then it give me reason to watch the other games, if not, all the other 31 teams can drown in Hell. lol

If you Wait till week 8, the price drops significantly to like 60-70% off. Its a matter of time until Direct TV catches on.

Ive posted this many times through the years. Heres a method:
1. Go on craigslist and buy and old directv receiver and dish. 50 bucks.
2. Find the satellite by turning your dish south and use the receiver signal strength meter. Its easy. Half hour tops.
3. Call direct tv tell them you want to start service. You want the cheapest local package. Let them bill you automatically via credit card.
4. When they ask your addy use a long island address. It can be a friend or even a random place.
5. You tv will start working with nyc tv. You will get preseason gsmes too. Whatever is local to any dude in nyc is yours.
6. When season is over call and tell them you are going to your house in jamaica for a few montgs. They will suspend service no charge.

So for 25 a month its not a bad optiin for out of towners

You can also ask a relative or friend in NY to order a extra receiver but besides the dish you also need the power switch that activates the receiver.. A extra receiver only costs a extra 6 bucks a month..

Ive done it from like 2007 to 2010. Direct tv doesnt care where u r. Another method.....start service wherever you live. 2 weeks later call n tell them your job relocated u to ny and you set your equipment up n r ready for service. They wont question u...it happens all the time
