This has been a really really bad offseason. Aboushi is not a big loss but it's continuing of getting in trouble with the law and the team being in the media spot light over and over.
We haven't heard a peep about any Giants apart from JPP. Hopefully MacBowles weed out these losers.

MaineJet, Blindside is not the most outspoken, that title goes to me. Nobody is faulting you as you will have drug and alcohol incidents on every team. Every player who smoke, drinks or whatever believes they have an anecdote that will mask their drug use. It worked for them in college and they are stupid enough to believe it will work for them in the NFL.
MJ - this is not w failure on rex but a failure on the players he brought in. Having said that, weed isn't a big deal anymore and I can assure you that it will not be as punishable under the new cba. Too many players have gotten in trouble, ruining their careers.

These are all REX players. All the nightmare stories coming out are the BS that we have been accustomed to.
This will take time to change the culture of such insubordinance. The minor steps that are huge are placing players accountable. It seems like GM Mike Maccagnan & Todd Bowles do their home work players that are suspect. They are quick to place them in the dog house and locate possible replacements to move on.

We're talking about Oday Aboushi, and you bring up a divisive topic just to stir the pot. Nobody said anything about Rex Ryan here, except you. It's like bringing Geno or Idzik needlessly into a thread just to rehash some point from a year ago.
if nfl teams started cutting every player in the league who smokes pot during the off-season, my guess is the nfl would no longer exist.

IMO, the NFL might be to blame for Aboushi getting caught with pot in his car. A friend of a friend with strong contacts @ UVA said he was totally straight in College, until drafted by the NY Jets. When you hang with stoner's, it's just a matter of time before you become one.

IMO the gun is a total non-issue. it is legal in his state, as it is in most states outside of, New York, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Maryland.
The thing that disturbs me is the doing 140 MPH, with a kid in the car, while pot was being smoked in the car.
IMO that should have put his butt in jail for awhile.
