Are we Jets fans delusioned about this season?

Let it look like Vinny's 98 Jets. Wow! They laid the hammer down on most teams. But gave the championship game away after the halftime. Can we look like that, doubt it but thats what your referring to.
A lot of that and I mean probably 100%, had to do with our coaching staff.
I'm not ready to equate this staff with coch Bill and company quite yet.
But let's see how it plays out

Not many years ago, on opening day, while watching the Jets beat the Browns with my neighbor who is a huge Browns fan, a WR named Stephen Hill had the game of his career. My how things change.

I was worried how things were going by the end of the 1st quarter. Glad we wound up blowing them out though. But they turned the ball over so much I still don't know how much of the blowout was due to their incompetence.
Your looking at this wrong I think. The turnovers and sacks were caused because our defense caused them. They didn't just hand them to us. Now I will agree Manziel is young and inexperienced. He may not even be that good and only time will tell. Mcnown is a below average or average at best QB so I get where your coming from. There have been many games in the Rex erra and other coaches erra that we should have dominated teams with there below average or young inexperienced QBs. However we didn't and lost most if not all those games at that. We made them look like HOFers.
Just last year, week one against the Raiders we barely beat them with a rookie in Carr. Not only that but we made Carr look like a savy vet that day. So our defense did what they were supposed to do and dominated. They will do that this year to alot of other teams and QBs whether they average, good, very good or great. Besides, our offense was solid all game and the Browns defense is pretty solid. I'm not jumping for joy about the win because I expected it and thats what they were supposed to have done. Now if we can dominate or even barely beat Indy on a Monday night in their stadium after the ass thrashing they just took, I will then be very impressed.
Agreed. I am also looking for the Colts game as being a better gauge than the Browns game.

The 5"4" Jewish sports blabbermouths are paid to sucker people like you to watch. Last week they were touting the Seahawks as #1 . Since that team lost the Super Bowl and their ace quarterback threw 57% passes and their ace head coach couldn't possibly have chosen a worst game plan, I haven't the slightest idea how anyone could pick them over the current SB champion. In the first game the Seahawks are reinstituting incompetence where they left off from last year.

I believe Rex was perfect against rookie QBs, if not then maybe 1 loss.

WOW, no confidence in Geno huh? Trust me I understand, especially after this whole jaw break fiasco garbage. His performance, leadership, character and maturity was suspect to say the least over the past two years before this jaw break thing in the first place but this took the cake. Some will say they did see the potential and talent in him even through all the garbage he put out on the field. I am one of them but after this jaw break gate, I'm done with him. So I hold no more hard feelings towards anyone who wants Geno gone besides SG3 but that's a whole different circumstance.
Anyway, the Jets can win 10 maybe even 11 games with Fitz but make no mistake about it, they have to pretty much carry him to 10-11 wins. Yes Fitz will play MUCH MUCH smarter then Geno ever did and probably would but his talent isn't where a QB that you can depend on to carry a team should be. I'm not saying Geno's was either, at least over the past two years no one could say that. If the team can stay fairly healthy and everyone does their part. Including Fitz playing smart, taking what the defense gives him and limits his TOs, the Jets can definitely win 10-11 games this year. No doubts about that.
