AgreedI agree completely. We missed this telling sign when we squeaked by the raiders last year.

Let it look like Vinny's 98 Jets. Wow! They laid the hammer down on most teams. But gave the championship game away after the halftime. Can we look like that, doubt it but thats what your referring to.Let me add that when I say "crushing the Browns," I'm not necessarily referring to a blowout final score. It's more of a general feeling you should get by the end of the 1st quarter to the middle of the 2nd quarter. Is it clear that the Jets are dominating? That nothing the Browns do on offense is working? Constant 3 and outs? While our offense is effortlessly moving down the field. That's what I mean by crushing. That should generally produce a blowout, but it might not depending on when the 2nd and 3rd stringers are put into the game, or perhaps giving up a couple late scores due to a couple of late turnovers. That might tighten up the final score, but if in the end I can say to myself that the Browns never really had a chance, that would be a crushing in my view.
Hope that's what we see.

True enough but being a Jets fan is a special kind of delusional.Just one point fan is short for fanatic so IMHO all fans are delusional. Lets not just single out Jets Fans.
Ahhh. Remember the heady days of having Hill and Holmes as our 2 main receiving threats...Not many years ago, on opening day, while watching the Jets beat the Browns with my neighbor who is a huge Browns fan, a WR named Stephen Hill had the game of his career. My how things change.
Go Jets...Cyborg
Your looking at this wrong I think. The turnovers and sacks were caused because our defense caused them. They didn't just hand them to us. Now I will agree Manziel is young and inexperienced. He may not even be that good and only time will tell. Mcnown is a below average or average at best QB so I get where your coming from. There have been many games in the Rex erra and other coaches erra that we should have dominated teams with there below average or young inexperienced QBs. However we didn't and lost most if not all those games at that. We made them look like HOFers.I was worried how things were going by the end of the 1st quarter. Glad we wound up blowing them out though. But they turned the ball over so much I still don't know how much of the blowout was due to their incompetence.

Just last year, week one against the Raiders we barely beat them with a rookie in Carr. Not only that but we made Carr look like a savy vet that day. So our defense did what they were supposed to do and dominated. They will do that this year to alot of other teams and QBs whether they average, good, very good or great. Besides, our offense was solid all game and the Browns defense is pretty solid. I'm not jumping for joy about the win because I expected it and thats what they were supposed to have done. Now if we can dominate or even barely beat Indy on a Monday night in their stadium after the ass thrashing they just took, I will then be very impressed.
The 5"4" Jewish sports blabbermouths
THEY'RE ALL FULL OF CRAP AND YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME LISTENING TO ANY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe Rex was perfect against rookie QBs, if not then maybe 1 loss.Your looking at this wrong I think. The turnovers and sacks were caused because our defense caused them. It's certainly the case for HYATT™ being a Jets fan.
There's ZERO rational reasons why he should be.
