I thought it was very interesting .... that there was not one play run from scrimmage, that focused on the TE position as a primary target. The dump off miss to Kellen Davis seemed like a third choice check off.

Gaily doesn't use tight end very much.

The closest player that Gailey will use to a tight end will be Quincey Enunwa. The guy can Block and catch like the best of them. I truly like his potential.
Again too early to tell how Chan will utilize Cumberland, I'am guessing he has game plans specific too them judging on who we play against if thats the opponents weakness. We have the talent to exploit them if need be.

Definetly did. Opened up Ivory for big runs and picked up blocks on Blitzes. The Guy blocks much better than Cumby.

Well, what were you expecting? Our TE situation is absolute sh*t. Better off excluding that option from the game plan.
Hmm.... maybe Cumberland might see a pass or two this week against the Eagles. .. Just a thought!!!

exactly he wants to get players who have speed out in space and let them make some people miss.
He also likes lineman who can get out and block for screens.

Gainey seems to have a like for bigger receivers, I think they may use Cumberland more and more as a bigger WR.
People forget that Cumberland for a big Dude 6'4"/260 runs a 4.4.

The Jets strength is its WR's and its weakness is its TE's.
Some people say Gailey has a WR centric offense to begin with, but with this roster it makes perfect sense. There's no reason to go away from your strength and force-feed your weakness just to say we're using the TE's.
