I read a report this morning that Pagano said he feels a lot better about Hilton's chances of playing Monday night than he did earlier in the week. Unless its a smoke-screen, it sounds like he expects Hilton to play.Any word if Hilton is playing?

nice statSince 1978, 69% of the teams that start the season 2-0 made the playoffs. Let's go Jets!
If Hilton isn't 100%, I don't think his presence on the field is going to be much of a game changer. I heard Mathis is also questionable but might play.
Bottom line for the defense this game is all about getting to Luck before he rips us apart no matter who is on the field, and not letting him run up the middle for first downs.
On offense, the possible loss of Ivory is concerning but we need to shred the Colts depleted defense both running and passing. No excuses.
TY Hilton is expected to play tonight
Oh I definitely remember Otis; big, bald, mean looking dude, the quintessential Raider from back in the day, what I didn't know was that he went to Mars College. Thats a heck of a memory, Fud.
With all due respect, i could not disagree more.
I feel like Bowles has this Jets team right where he wants them. He has the team well disciplined and has an us vs the world approach, silently.
The Jets have IMHO, all the pieces that all great defenses have in order to win a championship. Sure our QB isn't a HOF'r, but he runs along the lines of a Jim McMahaon, Brad Johnson & Trent DIlfer, in which he doesn't have to do much as long as he doesn't commit the morbid turnovers. Fitz can do the job with the WR core and power run game we need in order to win games. Even the ones that the opposing team out weighs our own QB.
I honestly feel this team resembles very much to the 2011 San Francisco 49ers. Coming off a wretched season from '10, no one gave them much hope with a then rookie head coach Jim Harbaugh. He had set the tone early in that training camp on what he wanted from his team and he got just that.
There are many parallels to that team and the Jets team here. I honestly feel our team this monday night will begin to surprise many football followers, even our own fans.
