Similar to last season. We beat a bad team in our opener at home and then travel to take on a Super Bowl contender with a high powered offense in their building. Although I think the Colts are a better matchup for us than the Packers were last year, and we do have a secondary unlike last year. Can't see anyone abusing us the way Rodgers and Nelson were able to expose an injured Milliner, who probably never should have been out there coming off the ankle injury.

Hopefully the outcome will be different this time.

I'll tell you something else, if we don't get a better pass rush on Luck than we did on Cleveland's QB's, not counting the 4th Qtr when the pass rush finally started getting there, we will have NO CHANCE to win this game. In fact its a shame that Mauldin got hurt because I would have started him in this game ahead of Pace. Verses the Colts in the dome you don't need a situational pass rusher on 3rd downs, EVERY DOWN is a passing down, especially in that building. It would have been nice if we could have rotated Mauldin and Reilly to get after Luck, but as is I would start Reilly for sure, his skill set off the edge is far more valuable to us than Pace's jack of all trades and master of none.

Thats my opinion, what say you?

Our rush was slightly better than it looked. Against a slower QB we may have had 5 sacks .

I know I am a bit out on my own limb, but I think Luck is a good to very good but not elite QB. He throws a lot, and a lot against soft zones. I think we match up pretty well with them. Their defense is VERY suspect both in pass and run, and looks like good chance they do not have TY Hilton. Plus the tape from their Buffalo game will help us as we can anticipate their adjustments to the first game.

Important to remember that any team that added as many players in starting roles of importance, as we did, will have growing pains as our group of players become a team. Expect miscommunication and learning opportunities that will be built upon add the year progresses.

I would expect us to be around 500 the first half of the year, but improve every week in the second half leading up to the playoffs. A couple games go the wrong way and we're out of the playoffs. A couple go right and we could be a hot team at the right time. We certainly have enough talent.

The will have to fix that defense and offensive line before they contend for a Super Bowl. They may win a bad division, but they'll never beat the real good teams

By the way, the Browns have a top offensive line. We should get more pressure against the Colts bad line

They really don't have much other than Andrew Luck fellas. The New York Jets provide much more of a challenge to Indy than visa versa. I honestly don't view them as a power house like many are making them out to be.

Definetly see us going 2-0 by next tuesday morning.

Luck scares me. He's a talented dude. The rest of the Colts are average at best. On paper, it looks like a game we can win. Just as long as Bowles gets them up for it, I can see us winning.

It's a road game against a great QB, so it's a challenge. But the Packers game last year was a much tougher one

Luck will do well , but we can still win despite that. Not having Hilton will slow him a bit

Maybe the Colts will be "angry" or "play better" but who the hell says that the JETS can not be angry and definitely play better..?? People say Jets didn't get a pass rush on MAnziel...beg to differ..why was he running around like a chicken w o his head on..especially when they got the lead. Manziel..and maybe only a cpl of other QB's could avoid the rush the Jets had at times yesterday...Williams narrowly missed him twice and a cpl other instances other guys. little trivia....DO YOU KNOW WHAT QB has been hit the most in last 4 years...LUCK and sometimes that is because he hangs in there longer than other guys but still there line isn't very good. forget about their running game.....MAYBE the Jets came out a little tight yesterday..at home..first game..beautiful day??

And on offense..we were playing against a defense much BETTER than the COLTS, and at times it looked fairly easy.

Lets win TO battle and we can win the game

I don't like facing Luck in Indy after a bad loss to Buffalo.

But I just watched the lowlights of that game and, man, did the Colts look bad. I think they'll look better on Monday night, but this is a very winnable game. It would be a HUGE road win for us.

Your defense can win this game - take Luck out of the picture with constant pressure - show's over for Indy. - After the loss to Buffalo Luck was commenting about the Bills pressure on him & the Bills front four - they forced Indy out of its game plan. - Keep them under 20 points & it's 2-0 for the Jets. Get into a shoot out ... not so good.

Excellent Point, Bronx, the Browns may be a bad team overall, but they have one of the leagues best O-lines, its probably their strongest unit. The Colts, OTOH, are a sieve on the O-line and we should be able to exploit that.

Indy's GM has done a bad job with the O-line. He thinks he's building a fantasy football team where all you need to do is draft a great QB and load up on the skill positions. In REAL FOOTBALL, not to be confused with FANTASY FOOTBALL, nothing else on offense can function at its optimum if you don't have the horses up front.

Colts GM is an idiot...he already had Hilton and Johnson and Allen and Fleener at TE..as good as Dorsett might be...no way he should have been pick even if they were worried about Hiltons contract at the time....they have other needs on both lines..especially OL.. there were good OL or even DB that could have helped them better..doesn't mean much for this game but in the long run this year that pick will hurt them....Luck is a good enough Qb and WR can be found later on...and Luck will find ANY wr he has....

Great Point, dreamer, they didn't draft an O-lineman until the 7th RD!!!

They watched Andrew Luck take a beating last year, the most hit QB in the league, then they go almost an entire draft without taking an O-lineman, not until the last round do they finally take one from tiny Mars College (and I didn't even know they played football on Mars!)
