Hope they have a little splurge of effort over the next 4 weeks, as often happens when an unpopular coach is fired.

The Dolphins fired head coach Joe Philbin on Monday, and if the team's 1-3 start to the season wasn't reason enough, one report of how he's failed to properly handle quarterback Ryan Tannehill's struggles indicates that there may have been an even deeper level of dysfunction.
On Saturday during practice, Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying:
“Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”
Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback. ... Philbin told the practice squad players to take it easy on Tannehill to not affect the young quarterback’s confidence.
What a mess.
The idea that a coach would tell players not to go full speed against the team's starting quarterback in practice is obviously completely ridiculous, and Tannehill choosing to call out practice squad players in this manner can't exactly be an endearing quality for his teammates to look up to in the person who's supposed to be the leader of the franchise.

Kinda sounds like a Rex/Neanderthal type of guy. Looks like tarzan and could probably whip a few guys ass on that team. It will be interesting to see if Suh's dark-side will be unleashed.

That's exactly what I thought, and why I posted it. Watched the presser, he's going to be the outspoken tough guy. Try and get the team motivated, and brawl with ya.
Think we are going to see a different Dolphins team moving forward. They have a good bit of talent, they just didn't seem to be in the game. No inspiration, no energy. Especially the D line. Yeh suspect Suh is going to have an awakening.
Going to miss Philbin. He was Rich Kotite bad.
