I think that playing on the road helps our defense with communication. Only the offense has to deal with crowd noise. I also feel that playing the Eagles fast paced offense also helps our defense. If we can hold our own during the early stages while sustaining some drives we'll be fine. I really think that this game will remain close throughout, with the game decided in the fourth quarter.

I used to love playing the cheap claimers. It's where the public stables trainers earn their money. Not much in the purses, so they make their money manipulating the suckers, and cashing tickets.

The Pats got beat up pretty good last night in their much hyped REVENGE game- Cannon(toe), Sheard (Knee), Blount(undisclosed x-ray?), Slater (leg) and Edelman (bent pinky).

Still a very tough game for us, but good to see that a team we dominated went toe to toe with "the Brady Revenge tour"... too bad he couldn't make his dad happy by dropping 60 on them as he had hoped for : )

IMO, if you want to beat Baby & Belly, you have to see what the GMEN did.

Belly was a first rate DC when the 3-4 was in it's infancy as the league was trying to combat the West Coast Offense with 4 LBs. From there, the hybrid 3-4 became all the rage. Belly just incorporated a "scheme" that makes the out place lineman a liability, bc he has to cover as opposed to having 4 LBs who can cover.

Play them straight up, and their scheme forces smallish receivers to beat their man with adequate safety help as opposed to the scheme beating their man for them.

Pats 3rd Dn% is 1st with 51%. 51%?! That's unheard of. We're going to have to win the early downs to force 3rd & 7+.

I honestly hope Ridley can play this week. There is a huge drop off in RB productivity once Ivory steps off the field. Ridley gives the team a burst of speed and a different dimension.

As far as CB's, hopefully Milliner and Williams are 100% healthy. Gonna need every CB covering the field vs Brady.
I firmly feel this will be the toughest Jets defense Brady has ever faced. Complete all around.

Good to hear, as injuries are part of the game, but you never want to see them ruining a guys career no matter what team they play for...

Bowles gets it and so do the players...it's only round 1 of 3(?) this season

Personally, I rather play them at full strength, best against best. No excuses. Injuries as we know are part of the game. I know they're the defending champs but this will be a test for both teams. We haven't faced a top offense, and they haven't played a top defense. Too bad the league couldn't flex this game. It should be prime time.

Does anyone else think that we will see a shot or two downfield against Pats? I thought we would see one today, particularly against Redskins banged up secondary. Perhaps we were saving that look for next week.

Yes I think Marshall and Kerley will get some deep balls. Kerley has the speed to get open deep and Marshall fights for everything. I hope we get the bounce of the ball.
