Cy, I know that you're a vet with the forums. I'd do the fight club before a sports club [emoji6] .

Make sure you've got a very strong anti virus set up before you do the fight club. DO NOT DOWN LOAD ANYTHING ON ANY OF THOSE SITES. Even if your told they are required

Watching NE pull away right now from Indy, I've gotta say, they are clicking on all cylinders offensively. We are gonna need the defense to step up big time on the road next week.

Huge game. Man, is it huge!

If we can bang Brady up early with our big Mo and Sheldon then we have a chance of winning. We need to get him to fear for his life. We've done it in the past. This could be our moment.

Hit Tommy early and often.

That has never worked, this year he was sacked 5 times, hit a total of 9 times in the first half and it didn't slow him.
Maybe I've missed it, but I've never seen Brady in fear of his life on a football field. I hear he's moving around better in and outside the pocket and getting the ball out in 2 seconds.

You can only beat New England with coverage, turnovers, in New York, or have Brady suspended.

I beg to differ, if you remember the 2010 playoff's loss with Pats having the home field advantage... Brady was running for his life in that one! Thank you Sean Ellis! :pointing-smiley-emo

We'll see Sunday how the pocket holds up for him, no matter where it or he moves to. The key is coverage to slow down that release which Bowles excels at...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm aware of it. This week I get it without the club [emoji3].

Personally, I rather play them at full strength, best against best. No excuses. Injuries as we know are part of the game. I know they're the defending champs but this will be a test for both teams. We haven't faced a top offense, and they haven't played a top defense. Too bad the league couldn't flex this game. It should be prime time.

No matter what we do, there will always be an excuse made up by the media.

Speaking of excuses, what would the media say about the Pats if they lose Sunday? My guess is, what's wrong with the Pats? All I know is I hope that there aren't any radio malfunctions :scratching-head-smi

It's surreal. Boomer was saying this morning the Jets are 4-1 because of the teams they faced. All of a sudden the Colts and Ardrew Luck are garbage. The Jets are handling their buisness as they should but the media loves turning things around.

My bet AFTER THE JETS BEAT NEW ENGLAND this Sunday, will be the excuses that Brady had an "off day".

With Peyton, and A-Rod having byes this week the media will be all over Brady. I really feel this is going to be a close game. If it's close we'll have a good chance.

WOW! ... The Scout Pats site is now resorting to posting PAST Pats/Jets stats and saying we only played "suck ass" teams which only tells me that those guys are VERY nervous of this game, as they should be!

Agree.

The one thing they can't let happen is fall behind like in the Eagles game. Jets just aren't built for 24 point come backs

+1...

to the person who used the GMEN & the reference to 2010 playoff game...they (Gmen) only rushed 4 with delayed blitzes. We only rushed 3 and had 6 dbs. Coverage is the key! Stacking lanes is the key! you're only going to get coverage sacks against Brady.

that's not to say a few all out blitzes from a coverage formation to absolutely fry his bacon would hurt, but he's got to think he has to wait for routes to open before those blitzes can work.

We are who we are...our schedule has weak teams on it...we won. They can have that argument as there is truth to it.

However, in the second half of most games, we completely outplayed our competition. They can't have that! We play at a higher level now...and they should be nervous!!!

OK lets get real the last 4 regular season games we played the pats were 1 win 30-27 and a 13-10 loss that was Geno's rookie year 2013.. And last years pathetic team had a 27-25 loss and a 17-16 loss.. I think most would agree this team is much more talented then the 2013-2014 Jets.. So if Bowles is the man we all think he is,I say he goes in to Foxboro and comes back with a win.:smiley-finger007:

I'm going to church on Saturday to make a Novena for our team....

(A novena (from Latin: Novem, meaning Nine) is an act of religious pious devotion originating in ancient Christianity,[1] often consisting of private or public prayers repeated for nine successive days in belief of obtaining special intercessory graces.[2] Novenas are most often prayed by members of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as by communicants of the Anglican Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Lutheran Church.[3] In addition, novenas have also been used in an ecumenical Christian context, such as those promulgated by Premier, in order to pray for Church renewal.[1]

The prayers are often derived from devotional prayer books, or consist of the recitation of the rosary (a "rosary novena"), or of short prayers through the day. Novena prayers are customarily printed in small booklets, and the novena is often dedicated to a specific angel, saint, a specific Marian title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or it invokes one of the personages of the Holy Trinity.

Within the Roman Catholic discipline, novena prayers for public use must have an Imprimatur, Nihil Obstat, and Imprimi potest. These ecclesiastical sanctions are usually granted by a bishop or any ranking prelate for publication and approval.)

I guess you didn't hear -- we have to play better than humanly possible if we don't want to get blown out of the building during warm-ups. In fact, I think the Pats are already winning 10-0, but I'll have to double-check.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, just wanted to keep you grounded in reality . . .

Thanks Savage I had forgotten about that. Keep on reading that the Jets have lost the last three in a row. Seldom read that the pats have won 3 out of four, by a grand total of 3 points.
