4 Games is excessive for a first offense and assault.
IMO this has to be appealed and knocked down to 2 Games.

Wow. 4 games for that. As I recall he had a gal in his hotel room. She wouldn't leave, he pulled her out of bed and tried to force her out. She went ballistic. It was dropped. Maybe my memory is bad, but that's how I remember it.
Walt Powell was signed off the Bills PS, so he's not an option. What's Owusu's status? It may be Jeremy Kerley's time to shine.
IMHO, huge blessing in disguise. The team will benefit from his absence and faster players will provide this offense to become more explosive with Owusu, Kerely and Devin Smith seeing more of the field.

For some reason Kerley doesn't seem to be on Gailey's radar.
Guess we'll have to see who gets the reps. Owusu, or Smith?
That has been the mind set so far this season. Yet, i'am sure Gailey realizes that Jeremy does play very well vs New England.

I hope your right Dan. I know Kerley is vertically challenged by Gailey's standards, but I like him in the clutch.
Thing is he doesn't play outside very much, and Enunwa, and Decker have been sharing the slot

I agree. I'd appeal. He didn't plea bargain, this charge was dismissed. As far as the courts are concerned he's not guilty

Hate to say it, I'm a little suspicious of the timing of this whole thing. Clearly the Jets didn't know it was coming down.
