Hate to say it, I'm a little suspicious of the timing of this whole thing. Clearly the Jets didn't know it was coming down.
I think that's nuts.....
So excessive.

IMHO, huge blessing in disguise. The team will benefit from his absence and faster players will provide this offense to become more explosive with Owusu, Kerely and Devin Smith seeing more of the field.
He could also appeal.
Its an overreaction to the Ray Rice backlash and the amount of heat the league took over that whole sordid affair. The courts cut this kid loose and dismissed the charges, so four games is way too draconian, its absurd, he should absolutely appeal and the NFLPA better fight as hard for him as they did for their Golden Boy, Tom Brady.Darryl Slater @DarrylSlater 39m39 minutes ago
Last year, after Enunwa's domestic violence charge was dismissed, the NFL said he was unlikely to be disciplined. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/20...a_has_domestic_violence_charge_dismissed.html …
I don't get this.

Source: Quincy Enunwa's 4-game suspension was a negotiated settlement between NFL and NFLPA. As such, there won't be an appeal.
Pats week.
Coincidence?

If he doesn't at least get this knocked down to two games, its ridiculously unfair.
Every disciplinary action taken by the NFL seems arbitrary and inconsistent.
Why did Enunwa agree to this negotiation? NFLPA offered him up as a sacrificial scapegoat.
The NFL under Goodell is a mess. I do not believe that he personally is responsible for the growth of the NFL, all of that would have happened under someone else.
This smells.
The NFL gets to decide what is and what isn't acceptable behavior for its players, and is empowered by the collective bargaining agreement to punish players from 31 of the 32 teams in they league when they stray from what they league considers acceptable.

It's called "fixing games".Clearly a lesson to be learned here.
Tom Brady undoubtedly is caught cheating in the playoffs. Destroys evidence, refuses to co-operate with the NFL in any manor, sues the league, walks away with no suspension.
Enunwa case: the charges are dropped. Found guilty of nothing. NFL spokesman publicly states, no disciplinary action will be taken. Enunwa co-operates with the NFL, and comes away with a 4 game suspension, that can't be appealed.
What's wrong with this picture?
