Attention, Dee Milliner: Jets' former No. 1 picks aren't safe

Well there it is...No plays on Defense, 2 big Whifs on ST's LAME

At this point, you have to wonder if he is even around next year. $2.5 million cap hit if we cut him, $4 million if we keep him. Why spend the extra $1.5 million if the guy never gets on the field.

CB snaps without Revis out of 65: Skrine 64, Cromartie 64, Walls 55, Milliner 0, McDougle 0 #nyj

Thought for sure he would get snaps yesterday. Guess he's not going to get another shot. Maybe he lost a few steps with the Achilles

My .00001% guess is that Bowles loved seeing ODB run past our other DB's for 149 yards.

I honestly don't know. Bowles has been coy in is assessment of Milliner. One minute, he's saying "don't worry about our DB injuries, we still have Walls, Milliner, and McDougle". And then we don't see Milliner at all. I find it really hard to believe that Darren Walls and Dex McDougle are going to give us more than Milliner. I like what Milliner brings.

But that's why Bowles/Rodgers get paid to make those decisions and I don't. There's obviously something up here. I just don't know what that is.
what's obvious to me is coach bowles thinks milliner is the worst CB on the roster.. the last two weeks absolutely screams loud & long this is coach bowles' assessment.. why he feels that way is debatable but inconsequential, because what is, is..

mystery solved from where i sit at least..

Milliner has the talent, he probably will take a while to get back to playing speed.

Weren't we saying a while back that his career is done because not too many people recover from that injury. The fact that he's back and active is a great sign. He may need some more time and camp to get up to speed. We shall see. Dee has the determination to improve. As somoene mentioned before, he was by Revis's side each time during the preseason. That's a good sign to me. Hopefully he can improve. Not sure if he can do it here though. As Golden Rott mentions, we could save $ by cutting him.

haha cheaterhater knows who he is lmao he is just being silly

as forth why TB hasn't used him is while coming off his injury Milliner is far from game/football shape... in the upcoming weeks expect to see more of him...

That's right. John Milner was the guy in the movie "American Graffiti" I think the Jets Miliner, last played a game for the Jets when American Graffiti was still in theaters.

They don't save any money this year by cutting him. 7.5 million in dead money and 4 million cap hit. Next year they break even on salary, and cap hit. Along with the fact that if they have another injury they will have to play him, the cap hit might be the reason he is still on the team. They just took a 2+ million dead money hit on Coples for next year.
