Mike Catapano was carted off with a foot injury.
Tough break, he was really coming on as a pass rusher and had a sack of Eli today before he went down.

Special thanks have to go to Rontez Miles for more than making up for his dopey offsides penalty that extended the Giant drive
To Coach Grumpy and Angry for going for it instead of kicking the FG that would have put them up two TDs (and for his Rex like challenge of a two yard spot difference that, if successful, would have gained the Giants a meaningless two yards)
And, of course, especially to Elinor for his terrific "Sanchez" at the goal line to give them ZERO on that long fourth quarter drive

It is extremely refreshing to see an up and coming Head coach that has it together to make the appropriate adjustments than a coach who rather jaw with opposing players during the game or making outlandish proclamations.

A few quick thoughts:
1)The asterisk was invented because four letter words are too complex for their fans to spell.
2)It would have been a better day if the Nets could have won, but I'll take this win.
3)Where are all the people who said the Jets couldn't win if Fitzpatrick threw more than X passes?
4)And somewhere, Scott Norwood is laughing.

I like where we are going but still worried about a few things.
Can't ask for a better season. Not many of us were expecting 8-5 at this point. We were all saying 8-8 or worse Bc of our qb situation but I think we finally have our qb that we didn't have in a long time.
Mac deserves executive of the year I think. He traded late picks for Marshall and Fitz. Doesn't get any better than that!
When the Giants were up by 2 scores with the ball 1st and goal with less than 9 minutes left in the game that's when I rubbed my hands together say "ok - we got them right where we want them"
mac has done an amazing job his rookie season as a GM including most/all of his signings being cap friendly moving forward..
hiring charlie casserly & ron wolf as consultants is the smartest thing woody has done as the owner of our jets!!
I thinks thats why he lost the challenge despite being right.
Technically he was right, it was clearly a bad spot, should have been the 21 or 22 instead of the 20, and it was absolutely conclusive, but the refs didn't reverse it, they kept the ball at the 20, and I really believe it was their way of saying; "Are you friggin' kidding me, you are going to stop the game over a meaningless yard or two, when the Jets get a first down regardless? In that case the play stands as called and you lose a T.O. for being an a-hole."
Now I know we're all in a state of ecstasy this morn, or afternoon :crazy:

I know I missed a lot. I haven't logged in since last Wed..... But I have a good reason.. I left from Vegas to go home to NY so I can be at the Jets/Giants game live with my best friend and NY Ginats Season ticket holder...... Oh guys for those that where there you know the feeling I have..... It was absolutely amazing to be among all those Giants fans and watching there team shit the bed yet again...... Especially when you have 2 Giants fans sitting behind you referring to Fitzpatrick as Shitspatrick all game..... I waited patiently and gave them the appropriate amount of shit back..... But I was, waiting, hoping and praying for a comeback like this. And when they went for on 4th down and goal... I screamed loud enough for my section to hear...... HERE IS WHERE YOUR SEASON ENDS. and after the pick I turned to the 2 fans behind me and I looked at them and I said ... DO you guys like Magic? Because it's FITZMAGIC TIME BITCHES......

I'm slightly surprised with the treatment the Giants staff and fans have for the Jets. There was an article I read where the Jets players weren't allowed to park their cars where they normally park. They were told to use the visitors parking lot. And Woody Johnson's wife wasn't allowed to use the VIP entrance. She had to use a loading dock to get to their suite. Co-tennants my ass! I realize it's their home game but damn. It makes the win even sweeter.
