We have 76 penalties all year long. Only the Steelers have committed less. What a difference a year makes.

Took the team long to buy into Bowles but so far so good. I was on Bowles earlier this year during our skid but the team has responded and turned it around. We are soaring at the moment. Hopefully they can keep it going.

I think you meant , only the Steelers have committed LESS penalties not MORE.

Coach Bowles is a real HC and Ryan is a clown. A mascot that goes with what the players want. Worries about their feelings. Catters to their needs. What ever Rex is doing wrong I'm glad he aint doing it wrong for us anymore. Its strictly business with Bowles and all about coaching to make the Jets a better team. So glad he's here!

Interesting the way the two hottest head coach hires, Bowles and Quinn both got off to fast starts, faced mid-season crises, but one of them was able to bounce back. Falcons are still in a tail spin, but Bowles has the Jets playing very well.

I was getting down on TB during the mid-season losing streak, but I love the way the team has responded. No matter what happens over the last 3, I am feeling really good about the future of this team with Bowles/Macc running the show.

In my opinion, the bad streak was connected to Mangold being out or not at 100%. His importance is underestimated by a lot of people...

Not only that but Marshall had a sprained ankle, and a bad case of turf toe. Decker's knee was acting up, and their were other injuries in the secondary.

Just one of those football things, hope they can get through it.

I attribute the decrease in penalties (especially those in crucial situations) to the fact that Willie Colon has been injured and out of games.

This team was 4-12, and already has 8 wins. Not to take away from Bowles, because I like him, but Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brandon Marshall are playing beyond what anybody thought they would. Marshall is playing like he's 27 again, and Fitzpatrick is having his best year as a pro. When you have good QB play, you have a chance.

Regarding discipline, the team doesn't commit nearly as many boneheaded penalties as they did under Rex. Although they have looked overwhelmed and underprepared for a few games this season (Raiders, Texans, Eagles) much like they did a few times too many under Rex. I'll reserve my complete judgment until the end of the season. I want to see the team finish strong, and not implode like 2011.

Colon believe it or not, only had 1 penalty before his injury. And one since LOL

Marshall actually could wind up with his best season ever as well. It will be his second best if he continues his current production. Amazing
