They go into alot of detail some of those interviews are 3-4 hours long I couldn't even began to come up with questions.

how will you assure the acquisition of a franchise qb, and how will you set him up for success with the team around him? what coach out there will best facilitate his and the teams growth?
theres not one right answer to this question obviously but if you find a GM that has the right plan, and can narrow your coaching search to men that fit that parameter, and then let your GM pick from that pool, there's a good chance of not only cohesion but a true plan in place.
that plan could be "carefully draft a qb every year, no matter the round, and do whatever it takes to get the one guy every year you covet" combined with "OL comes first" combined with "coach your qb to be a coach for his offense"

Mine for a GM:
1) Talk to me about the player-personnel landscape for the next 5 years. Where do you see the cap going, how do you view FA, what do you see with the rookie wage scale?
2) What is your 2 yr goal? 3 yr goal? 4 yr goal? and 5 yr goal? (the simpleton answer is obviously always "superbowl every year", but that's not how it works)
3) What identity do you see this team taking on with you at the helm? Offensive? Defensive?
4) If every coach were available to you, which would you bring in to coach your team? (After he answers): Now talking about only the coaches available, which do you want to pursue the most? (the point of the dual questions would be to see how aligned his thoughts are with his ideas).
5) Walk me through how you'd build your ideal team. Through the draft? Through FA? Who are you targeting this year and next in both? What is your plan with our current player personnel?
6) What are the three most important tangible qualities you look for in a QB? What are the three most tangible qualities that would turn you off a QB?

That's a good one for HC. To piggy back on that: What kind of coaching style do you prefer, and who are you targeting to come in and work with you?
Sure you could like;Whats your favorite movie,when did you become a football fan,What is your favorite sports movie, What is your favorite song,What is your favorite quote? etc..
Looking at our roster, who would fit what type of offensive and defensive schemes you would implement?
With the players that don't fit your scheme but are productive how will you utilize their skills or showcase their abilities to get the best value for them?

Who he plans to hire as a HC, and what is his time line for getting the Jets competitive again. Will he try to micro manage, or will he let his hand selected HC do his job?

I would ask what his short term, and long term plans would be to fix the gaping holes at CB and QB.
I would throw multiple 4 round mock drafts at him to see how he would react in different scenarios. I would ask him how he is going to deal with Big Mo's contract.
I would throw 3rd and 4th round talent players at him, and ask for a break down on their Pros and cons, to see if he was really up to date on his craft. Same with FA's.
