Center Wesley Johnson has signed his restricted free agent tender

Center Wesley Johnson has signed his restricted free agent tender, the team announced Thursday.

The tender for Johnson is worth $2.746 million. Johnson is the likely replacement for Nick Mangold, who was released in February.The 26-year-old Johnson started eight of the final nine games last season while filling in for the injured Mangold.

I think Johnson played really well last year in place of Mangold. I guess the team did too since they let go of Mangold.

Let's hope that Oline is not a problem for this team this year because for the first time in a long time it looks like we'll be going to bat with a young QB. Bad olines always mess up their development.

our run game will be effective will Bilal and the youngins in the backfield, wonder what will be with Matt Forte?

three late round 3 early round 4 running backs on our radar, starting with South Florida's Marlon Mack... they do like both rookies from last year wonder if we will keep four or three and a fullback...

the o line is not like ones we had back in '09 but it has potential and as long as we can run the ball we have promise...

Brandon Burks and Brandon Wilds... not to mention Romar Morris who has yet to unveil if he can offer anything spent almost full season on IR...

I like Morris, he has a third gear and accelerates quickly kind of like Bilal Powell but with an additional gear...
