Time for everyone to go on record - what will the Jets do?

Either name a player the Jets will take at #6 ... ONE PLAYER ... or predict the Jets will trade out of the 6th overall spot.

Keep it short so its easy to follow, and we'll see who got it right.

I say the Jets trade down to #12 with Cleveland and take WR Corey Davis.

I agree with the trade back and comp, if Trubisky is on the board,except i think they will draft D.Barnett de/olb Tenn. I think Howard will be gone.
If Trubisky is gone already, the Jets draft Leonard Fournette. The highest rated player on the board.

said it from the beginning the Jets will trade down not once but twice... there is too much potential in this draft for us to get one good player whereas we can score multiple potential starters in the first three rounds... if we end up trading players for additional picks that will be the icing on the cake...

In my last mock I have the Saints snatching Howard at 11, so we take Davis. If they take the WR, then we take Howard.

If Fournette is available they go with him at #6, if not they trade down with the Browns and probably go BPA. Hopefully that will be someone like M. Willliams, O.J. Howard, C. Davis or D. Cook

If I could predict the future, I'd take my Vegas winnings and be on a beach somewhere, lighting a big cigar with a bearer bond.
But since I can't, I'll say they'll stay at 6 and draft an Australian punter. Its as good as any guess.

my preference is to trade down, but i don't think one will occur.

so i predict they will take malik hooker. i think the CB and TE classes are deeper so they can address those positions later

Hmm, I'll go out on a limb & say Mikey's puts on his scouting hat and stays at 6th takes QB Watson or RB Fournette. It really depends if Mikey thinks his QB Hackenburg is a stud. As bad as our GM has wasted top picks I hope he doesnt trade back. GM has to be really good at Drafting to trade back in knowing there is a sure starter. Farther back you go in trading back the better GM you have to be & Mikey hasnt shown or prove he can tell a good player in first 3 rounds so trading back only insures more Darts thrown at Dart Board of names. Come on Jets & make a reasonable pick that can start and play. I'm pullin for ya Mikey, dont set Jets back 5 years adding to Idzik's 3 years wasting picks and your 2 years. Take best skilled player or best D or O Lineman on board. No Safeties-TE's-CB's or Combine only stud at 6th like Gholston.

I like Feeney, but I would have to see how he could shift over to C. I think we are pretty well set at guard. It might be our best offensive position. Did he play any C at Indiana?

Trade out of the # 6 spot to get # 12 & 33 .......then take TE - OJ Howard at 12 and then at # 33 take S- Obi Melifonwu and at their own #39 take CB- Chidobe Awuzie ... three new possible starters then lets see what round 3 brings.... I would like to see us take WR- Cooper Kupp at # 70 and OT- Julie'n Davenport at 107 in Round 3.
Then Trade Sheldon Richardson to the Bears for #37 (2nd) and #67 (3rd) take OT Ryan Ramczyk with #37 and RB Joe Mixon if he is there at # 67

I don't want them taking a QB at #6. As bad as I want a franchise QB, I'm not quite sure any of these QBs are #6 worthy. Drafting at #6 IMO, means your ready to be a day one starter and contribute on a shitty, good, excellent or great team. Not quite sure any of these QBs are worthy of that. I don't want them to draft a defensive player also, especially a 300 pound dline men. Unless he is HOFer and game changer, from day one and I still wouldn't want a 300 pounder. Don't we have enough of those already? So that leaves a skilled player and there doesn't seem to be a powerhouse oline men out there to get at #6.

Bsa.. best safety available. I'd imagine Adams or hooker get picked before 6, so I can't say who falls to us.

After seeing report that jets aren't making 5th year option on Pryor until after draft, tells me they're going safety if available. Not who I'd pick, but hard to bet against the jets making this pick. I'd love fournette.
