• The team will be sorry they didn't draft a center.
• Five 2017 draftees will start week 16.
• Mo Wilkerson will again lead the team in sacks.
• Decker will not be on the roster.
• Sefarian-Jenkins will have 15+ receptions.
• Shell will be a fixture at RT.
• Cherone Peake will have the most receptions of all 2016 signees.
• The defense will line up in a 4-3, 50% of snaps.

Prediction on Hack's performance?

I think he will be better than Petty, albeit not by much. I think the Oline will be pretty bad and it will be difficult for him to succeed. Some will be calling for a new QB in 2018, some will want to give Hack another chance with a better cast. He'll take his lumps but I just don't think he will be a disaster.

• Hackenburg will start from game 5 on. - I believe McCown will start and be there till at least game 8 (Bowles trying to save his job)
• Sheldon Richardson will be on the roster, start out strong and then get himself in trouble and be cut by the team. - I think he will debate with Bowles why he is playing linebacker and have an average year because he's out of position.
• Burris will be the best cornerback on the team.Only if Claiborne is hurt.
• The 'second round curse' will officially be broken. I'm not so optimistic on that one.
• The team will be disappointed they gave Brian Winters an extension. Brian played better last year but I still saw some leakage with his pass blocking.
• The team will be sorry they didn't draft a center. They don't seem to be sorry about leaving out OLine in the draft.
• Five 2017 draftees will start week 16. Certainly Possible with Adams, Maye, Stewart and Leggett.
• Mo Wilkerson will again lead the team in sacks. No. Leonard Williams
• Decker will not be on the roster. I think he will be gone.
• Sefarian-Jenkins will have 15+ receptions. Yes
• Shell will be a fixture at RT. He will play RT. I'm not sure about being a fixture.
• Cherone Peake will have the most receptions of all 2016 signees. Yes.
• The defense will line up in a 4-3, 50% of snaps. Think they do that already.

I think Bowles has been told he will be back. They aren't going to win much. I think if he keeps the locker room he will be back. I think him starting McCown will actually lead to him being fired more so than starting Hack of Petty

• Jenkins will be the best linebacker by far.
• The Duke kicker will win the job.
• Mangold will play against the Jets this season.
• By the end of the year, 3 Jets will be in the top 100 NFL players (Leo, Adams and Mo).
• We will not hear about any players being late for meetings.

WIth the new motivating coaches we have on board, i feel these young kids will learn what it takes to prove the doubters wrong very early. There is a very good mix of veteran leadership still within the locker room with David Harris, Matt Forte, Eric Decker and McCown mold this team correctly.

1. The team will have a 2-4 win season. early on we will show lack of discipline, communication, and guts like last year and people will be calling for bowles head by week 7. However, the team will win a few games later on against good teams, and show some growth towards the latter stages of the season. From week 9 on we will be competitive in every single game.
2. We will lose by 30+ to Oakland week 2
3. Charone Peake and Adarius Stewart will quickly become fan favorites and establish themselves as solid WRs with room to grow.
4. ASJ will be cut at some point during the season
5. Cornerback will be a massive problem all season
6. Wilkerson will lead the team in sacks
7. Mauldin will be second on the team in sacks
8. Hack will start between 6-8 games and throw a lot more INTs then TD (IMO itll be better if he fails, because if he looks average to solid and we pass on darnold/allen/Rudolph in 2018 it will go down as the biggest embarrassment the franchise has ever had when these qbs are among the next elite passers in the nfl and hack sucks in 2018).
9. Enunwa will lead the team in TD receptions.
10. The OL will be better than expected.

Interesting observations.

1. Jenkins, Mauldin and Lee will be our starting LBs in a 4-3 sets. Harris will obviously be the 4th in 3-4 sets.
2. Decker, Peake, Stewart, Enunwa and Marshall will be our most productive WRs. If Decker is still on the team by season start.
3. Two drafted rookie safeties will start all 16 games. Be our starters for the next 10-15 years and great ones at that. Pryor in three safety sets, until or if he gets traded.
4. Burris, our two drafted rookie corners and Williams will set our rotation of corners.
5. Williams will lead the team in sacks, Mo or Mauldin will come in second and Richardson will be solid this year as well. Until he screws up and gets traded or cut.
6. O-line won't be as bad as we think.
7. Drafted rookie TE will be a solid contributing factor for the team. ASJ will be a nice second fiddle option and pretty good in two TE sets.
8. TB will handle the team a lot better this year.
9. Rookie drafted RB and Powell will take over the touches and slowly phase Forte out the line-up.
10. Hack will start from game one, play all 16 games and if he plays halfway decent and shows promise, they will win 6-8 games and if he stinks, they win 0-2 games.

I think everyone hopes Hack will start from game 5 on? Not to mention, the way McCown plays the game (violent like Fitz), the over/under of 5 games might be a little less?

Burris being the corner on the roster says NOTHING about Burris. The Jets do not have any corners. Go out on a limb, my friend. What will he look like comparison to NFL standards?

Agreed on the Maye pick. Mac made a very logical decision with Maye,

Winters is the best OL on this team. I think he will play well.

Agreed on the Center. They need one desperately. Not that that's really Mac's fault? This draft didn't have any OL talent really.

Agreed on 5 starters. Doesn't necessarily mean they'll be any good, but the youth movement will be in full swing.

Leonard Williams will lead the team in sacks.

I hope Decker remains on the roster?

ASJ is depth and nothing more. About 15 receptions or less....

Shell will be a fixture at RT only because the Jets do not have any better options.

Charone Peake will get better. Not sure how much given we do not have a settled QB position. But he will get better.

There's NO way the defense will line up in 4-3 much at all. Toilet is very stubborn with running that hybrid even though the defense would have been much better off in 2016 if they just gone 100% 4-3...
