0-16 here we come!

I can believe it but I honestly can not believe that this team is going to go 0-16 this year. The jets have had some horrible and I mean some horrible teams but never this bad! The Jets were horrid with Rich Kotite a few times if I remember correctly, Things got pretty bad with Rex Ryan his last 2-3 years with us, Todd Bowles it was very bad his last 2-3 years but this is on a whole nothing level. This team is a shoe in for 0-16 unless some team decides they just absolutely don't want to play and are going to give us the win regardless. Otherwise, who the hell are we going to beat this year?

I didn't think the team was a train wreck yesterday against the Cards. There was no plethora of interceptions, fumbles or personal fouls this week, Flacco had a competent game, and they were using a credible plan to contain Murray. But in the NFL small differences between teams can translate into a big score differential, and there is a general difference in quality between the squads. Contrast the catch Hopkins made for Murray with the non-catches Berrios, J Smith and Herndon made for Flacco. Look at the explosion from the Cards' RBs. Of course it doesn't help that the few good players we have are injured and we let our Pro Bowl safety and deep threat wideout go. Plug eight quality players into the squad and outcomes would be very different.

Jeff Smith was over targeted by Gase and Flacco

Jamison Crowder had the same targets and caught the majority thrown his way...

who was the number three receiver, Chris Hogan he is likely done for the season...

so if Denzel Mims and his catch n run ability not to mention his vertical speed, could change the dynamic a bit...

Chris Hogan was signed because of his speed then welp he came here and there was nothing left...

The one change I would do is keep Wesco on the line to block and put Frank Gore as the fullback, allows a little more flexibility in play calling... Remember Bell can lineup as receiver, with Gore in the back field gives us a slight advantage, nah prolly not with Gase calling the plays...

YES!!!!! Ive said it from week 2 we are not going to win. Positives from this is good! Jets gets 1st pick QB Trevor L. and then Drafts a WR/RB at end of 1st round and top of 2nd round. Hire the right Coaches will be big next year and keep Gase and mess this year. Then our GM must go out and sign GOOD Veteran Leaders/Players at KEY positions. Dont need a lot but a few. Center if a good one out there with a big powerful Drafted RB and big WR. Also need a TE and CB and Pass Rushing D Lineman and LB. This can get fixed in 2 years with Drafting correctly and signing those Key Leaders/Players. Think positive Jets Fans, this mess can get fixed fast if our GM Drafts and Signs the CORRECT Players and COACH.

int,s & the Cardinals??????not this year...But look the Cards are not a great team yet & who knows how good Murray & the king are? So i would say losing by 20 to the Cards was a slaughter.

The only coach the Jets can get is a failed coach like Gase or Quinn or Hue Jackson.

Cards QB did well in first season showing improvement accuracy passing . So GM went and got him a great WR! See what he was and get him a WR. Smart. Everyone say the Jets should get Darnold all these weapons to be good. LOL. Got to show you are a GOOD QB FIRST. Packers got Rogers at QB and who is his super WRs? We could go get a great bunch of players and make any QB look better..even Darnold. But it wont change the fact that Mikey Macagnan stinks at drafting and Darnold is no exception to that along with Geno.

The best thing is they fixed the OL not great but better.....But they had/have a great WR ...don't forget Fitz!!!!!! Captain Kirk is not bad as a three too. They are good but Murray is throwing too many iNT,s & we need to see if the King gets better......PP is still not hitting anyone & should have at least 5 Int's a year.....needs to step it up. But we shall see over the next few weeks what we have.

Hawk Im happy for your other team! My Jets always 1 because of Super Bowl 3 Namath. But Raiders has always been my next team and would have been first if they had beat the Jets in playoffs and won Super Bowl3. Raiders won beating the Chiefs or as I call them ,the Chefs. When your a Jets/Mets fan as main teams you must have 2nd teams or be bored. lol. Whats bad is my 2nd teams are better than my first. JETS/METS VS my 2nd RAIDERS/DODGERS! You see i was a cards fan from 63 or 4 when my dad had season tickets to the giants. Then he took me to the 64 jets game at Shea. I became an instant fan. Like college & a pro team in 64 they would never play each other so there was no conflict at that time. That is why 50 /50
