Somethings gotta give at the end of this dreadful season that will come to a close and hopefully we get our asses kicked by 30+ points versus Rex this Sunday afternoon.
Let me begin by saying all of those who want "Consistency" at Head coach, we 've had that. Herm had 4 years, Mangini had three and Rex had 5 seasons. You can read between the tea leaves, Todd Bowles S.U.C.K.S as a head coach:
*No in game adjustments
*Locker room is at each others throat
*No accountability
*Continues to play Ryan Fitzpatrick.
*Hackenberg is rotting on the bench for the season finale with Petty possibly not suiting up
*Team took on his demeanor by playing skiddish as he never takes chances when the game is on the line.
*Plays his top players out of position
Blame Mike Macagnan all you want, but even if he gives Todd Dan Marino and Tony Dorsett, we still wont go for it on 4rth and one.
I'am expecting Todd out of here by next Monday morning. Here are the candidates i would go after in order:
Sean Payton
There are rumors that the New Orleans Saints could trade him. WIth the right price and also pair him up with Mike Glennon while Hack learns the entire playbook, may replicate the success he had with Drew Brees.
Doug Marrone
He has been a coach in this league before. This was the guy that should have been head coach for this franchise before Woody got manipulated by dumb reports by Manish Mehta. Marrone is an old school head coach that reminds me alot of Bill O'Brien. He will make in-game adjustements in order to win.
Tom Coughlin
He knows the City quite well. Hell, the last time we went with a NY Giants head coach, it went pretty well. He's won superbowls and is a Parcells disciple who knows how to beat Belichick when it matters the most.
Josh McDaniels
As with Bill Belichick, his first rodeo didnt go well. I feel him headed back to New England helped him alot to clean up what he needed to to take yet another crack at the HC position. IMHO, out of all these guys, he would be very intriguging given that Christian Hackenberg played his best under the Patriots offensive system. Why not have someone that worked with Brady help groom this young 21 year old with massive potential.
As you can see, my list are coaches that have been there before. Enough with these "projects". Lets get someone who has an actual plan and wont have to Learn on the job. Have Macagnan chose HIS GUY!
