Shepherd cracked Daniel Jeremiah's final TOP 50 until the end, only fell out of his final version, but its clear Jeremiah likes him a lot as does Mayock.

One of my favorite players of this draft. Built like the Canadian Rockies. This guy got double-teamed almost every snap. He's a raw piece of clay and he's got this NFL-ready body and explosion, some inside-out versatility and I love his upside.

Mayock, Jeremiah and Brandt have ALL THREE been singing this players praises for quite some time.
And again, Wilkerson and Sheldon are gone, that plan was blown to hell, so a young stud 34DE was a need, not a luxury.

I've never heard of this guy, but at this point since we got Darnold so we could take Baker Mayfield's sister and I wouldn't care. This draft is already a success.

The team hosted around four or five d-linemen prior to the draft. So obviously they recognize the need.
