2018 QB Draft - My thoughts TAKE 2

I think this 2018 QB draft class is maybe one of the deepest EVER depending on a couple of guys that are expected to come out early... I am not talking about just the first round. I think in the first 4 rounds there could be a record number of QB's taking..

With that said I think the Jets need to do exactly what the Redskins did in 2012 when they drafted RG III in Rd 1 and Kirk Cousins in RD4...... I do believe without injury RG III would have been a very good QB but injuries are part of the game. Skins were prepared for it and they look like geniuses in my opinion by doubling down like they did. Even though they were ridiculed for it at the time I do believe it's what the Jets need to do in 2018. So hopefully they do not have to trade up to get one of the top 3 guys this year and can hold onto all their pics so we can afford to take another guy in RD 3 or RD 4...

Personally, I think after getting one of the top 3 guys they should target one of these guys in Rd 3 or 4. ( If these guys don't jump higher after a great season and offseason hype)

1. Baker Mayfield - Oklahoma
2. Luke Falk - Washington St
3. Jake Browning - Washington
4. Jason Stidham - Auburn

I would be willing to bet if the draft happened today, Mayfield would most certainly be a 1st rounder.

I think when it is all said done with the season and the evaluations he will be at the bottom of the first round but as of today he is probably a 2nd or 3rd... I only say that cause just about every scouting site, ranking system has him there. But I do think he is a 1st round probable come the draft
