Na.......I've watched him a few times. He's always had a little problem there. It's mostly his turn around I guess you'd say. By the time he gets turned around and starts moving the receiver has 3 or 4 steps on him. If he's playing back in the zone not much of a problem. Another thing I noticed is that he missed quite a few interceptions that he should have had but I believe these things are coach-able and his upside is terrific. I think it's a good pick.
Worth a 5th. If his ankle heals proper we got a steal, if not, not a very high wasted pick. I read he is another team captain too. JD is not only getting talent with his picks, but high character.They may have gotten a steal with Hall.

Yeah, the NFL didn't have much use for a completely mediocre interior OL from a small Division III program.
Neither did the CFL.
Neither did the Arena League.
Pretty much nobody.
Sack, we been with this board a while and like you I am not use to this but loving it. JD seems to be what we hoped - solid pro who has a plan and will execute it irrespective of media and fans.... IMHO this is good solid draft... and my hope is that all the players will pan out and contribute.
My only concern is the HC/PC, now if the team underperforms( meaning not competitive on 0) then he should go.
I agree. Douglas has to stay. If something doesn't work, it's on Gase.
