New York looks at the teams sitting 8-9-10 and decides they should nab one of those offensive tackles before a run occurs. Becton is off the board in exchange for No. 11 overall and a 2020 third-round pick. They have two third-round picks following an in-season trade of Leonard Williams.

Both teams win, with the Cardinals re-signing Humphries, they are no longer in the tackle market. They are in need of DL help and this draft has plenty of prospects to fill their void.

The Jets are in need for a top flight Blindside Tackle and this would make sure they get one of the top four.

I think we can get one of the top 4 without a trade up. I think the Giants and the Browns are the only teams in the top 10 looking for tackles. 3 teams are taking QB’s .... Young, Simmons and Okuda will go, and the Cards will take Lamb ....

Burrow expected to be No. 1
Will the Dolphins trade up to grab Tua at No. 2?
Lions at 3 then get Chase Young
Giants take Wills... (Replacement for Nate Solder)
Redskins if deal with Dolphins would get Andrew Thomas here... (Redskins have their issues and Trent Williams and Penn are not likely back)
Chargers looking at Herbert...
Panthers are said to like Whirfs... And this will help out pass protection but secure the run game for McCaffrey...


Cardinals at 8, would be foolish for the Jets to stand pat, especially with the Browns in need of a Tackle...

Hopefully they let the draft fall to them, if possible even, trade back, acquire more picks.
This is a deep draft in areas of need.The Jets should be looking to add more 3rd rounders, not giving them away, imo.

I agree with both my teams unless one of their top two or three fall in line.....trade down...Also, not crazy on Humphries.....better then avg but not good or great...maybe he will improve...…big gamble
