Agreed! We can go WR and CB or edge rusher in the second round.
Trader joe has turned 5 picks thru 4 rounds into 7 . Becton, Mims, Davis and Zninga. I think he has done very well. Especially like Mims and Davis. We needed as many players as we could get, and we are getting that from Joe......

Three players on my wish list today include , #1 PunterJoseph Charlton from S.C., Amik Robertson, cb La Tech, and Ben Bartch, OT , St Johns...so many good players left...I’m psyched.
This team has lot's of needs & Douglass is strongest on the draft...so stack those picks. The smart thing to do. As I have said all along Douglass is the key at this point. then Darnold & the coach have to do their jobs...so far so good. This is the year to catch the Pats. I also feel the Cardinals have had a great season so far with their picks & getting a second great WR. The poor Guardians my best chance for a Winner this year lol.
Mekhi Becton starts off the draft for Joe Douglas, another top prospect falls in the lap of the Jets but they did have their choice and all accounts he chose wisely...
Second pick was parlayed into many new additions while staying true to their draft board still acquiring a pure No. 1 receiving option in Denzel Mims...
Third pick finding a versatile defensive back in Davis giving another toy for Gregg Williams to utilize is intriguing to say the least... Second third round another Gator to make his way through our doors in consecutive years but this one has more of a ferociousness to his game with a similar build to Jordan Jenkins... More of an edge guy and willingness to defend the run could be a home run third round pick...
Our second round pick parlayed into two forth round picks and recouping a 6th round pick next year that we sent to New England for Demaryius Thomas was a steal... Drafting a physical running back that will likely develop into a long term answer if the Jets move on from Bell after this upcoming season... Acquiring a very athletic tackle from UNC-Charlotte who will likely kick inside to guard but has the skill set and experience to play all five positions on the offensive line is intriguing in its own right... Finally after the whole Fales re-signing, exclusive rights tag on Mike White the Jets find a rookie that the New England Patriots were targeting in James Morgan a similar build like their former franchise QB Miss Tammy Brady...
Fifth round pick, Jets like last year got a top talent who stock draft because of an injury in Bryce Hall who has an uphill battle but has the potential to be a long term answer on the outside... More of a zone cover corner can play off man coverage against bigger receivers that lack vertical speed...
Sixth round Jets get their Mann, in Punter Braden Mann who looks like a stud with the sixth pick... Finally the Jets wanted another corner and got a steal of a deal from the Colts a former 2nd round pick for the 211th 6th round pick...

All this is true but we shouldn't forget that a lot of other teams had good drafts as well. All that has happened is that for once we haven't fallen further behind. It will take several years of this to drag us back into the pack.
