The way the Jets are playing, they win about 3 to 5 more games at most. Which is just enough to not put us on the running for a top-notch QB. But that’s OK because it’s my belief that the Jets should never draft a first, second or third round QB again.
It appears to just be a waste of freaking time. Draft one in the fourth round or worse. Even an undrafted guy will be good and maybe they will strike gold that way. Maybe Jordan Travis is or future guy. I know it’s purely a pipe dream but what more do we have, other than hope.

We have a quitting problem with this team. It was built horribly by JD. Even the talent we got is soft.
I think the Jets have another letdown and the season officially ends Sunday vs Pats.
What's amazing to me is that EVERY Management team they have had has made the same mistakes.
Draft the wrong QB? Check.
Go the FA route?"Check.
Make a move so astounding that it goes down in Sports History? Check.
This is a cycle that has been repeated and regurgitated over and over again.
It doesn't matter who they hire as an HC or buy as a QB they come here, they suck.
Either that or they take us right up to the doorway of greatness and it gets slammed shut in our collective faces.
This happens on a revolving basis as We all know.
The question is: "How can this be?"

he Immediately turned the team around but then the year we would have won the SB, Vinny goes down untouched week 1 to the same Achilles as Rodgers.
the next year Hess died, Parcells wanted nothing to do with Woody, belichick, the same. if only Leon had lived another year. Like you asked, how can it be?

Just in case it hasn’t been pointed out yet, with Robert Saleh the Jets destroyed the Patriots earlier this year. Without him, they just lost to the Patriots and haven’t won a game yet. Their defense has gotten much worse and they seem to be a much more disorganized, confused, disgruntled and overall worse team. I wonder what Woody and A. Rodgers is thinking now? Be careful what you wish for!
Saleh was 20-36. Nothing good needs to be said and this team was destined for 2-6 with any coach.
So , like I said, the schedule makers knew all the fun with the Jets would be over by Halloween. Gave themselves an out for the last prime time game
