Both the Giants and Raiders are still trying to win a game. Raiders should have beat the Texans today, but 2 really bad PI calls cost them the game. They played all out. Raiders have 2 winnable games left. Giants only one. Could the Giants beat the Raiders and the Raiders beat the Chiefs who the Titans crushed today. Would be the best case scenario ..
Then it comes down to the final SOS....

Dallas has too much offense for the Giants. Don't see it.

I think jets cant get the #1 - either Raiders or Jints get a loss next week. So, for jets to have a chance they have to lose two - and Raiders and Jints each go 1-1

BUT i think Giants have a worse - better - SOS - and so would win the tiebreaker if 3-14 with the jets

I guess you didn't read my post. I very clearly stated it comes down to Final strength of schedule. The Browns have played more playoff teams and their SOS should rise over the next 2 weeks, and playoffs, hopefully higher than ours.. I only see them Drafting a QB if they fire Stefanskis. The Jets can still get the first pick in the scenario that I posted.

The SOS changes every week so if the raiders get a win and Giants get a win, it will come down to the final SOS. If still tied then head to head etc

Root that the Giants beat the Raiders and the Raiders beat the Chiefs.Possible then we hope for the final SOS to be in our favor
Or Raiders tie Giants,Raiders beat Chiefs, Browns beat Bengals, Giants beat Dallas and we lose out. Then I believe we secured the first pick but the Titans and Cardinals could pass us on SOS ( unlikely but possible). Tennessee should beat the Saints, Cards should beat the Bengals and that would give us the #1 pick for only the second time in franchise history.

If the Giants win today, especially after last season when they screwed up their draft position they should all be taken to task.

The Jets have to get in the top 3 imo to secure the QB they seem to want.
I like Mendoza. I admit I might be tempted to use those 1sts elsewhere and draft some solid skill guys but thats just me. I do believe Mendoza is the goods and has the tools to be an NFL QB.
The way it's lining up I believe the Jets will pick in the top 3 without using draft capital.
Giants-Raiders will decide it and I believe the Jets will wind up picking 2nd when it's all said and done.
Just my gut. I could be wrong.
Oh and I love the Browns today.

All sounds good to me. Would be the cherry on top for the Browns to crush the Steelers and A-Rod but the the ultimate dream is that #1 draft pick!
