No he didn’t throw a touchdown but he still was excellent in that game. He didn’t turn the ball over, he made clutch throws when needed. He stood in the pocket and took hits after hits after hits from an NFL roster and never folded. In the biggest moments when his team needed him the most, he made it happen. If that’s not the making of a true NFL franchise QB, I don’t know what is. I don’t know what you were looking at in that game but whatever it was, it was wrong!

He is going to a significantly worse team than his current team. Mendoza is not a sure thing. I wish we had a shot at him, but I'm not devastated that we don't.
I didn't say he didn't play well. He's the primary reason they won the game. What I did see was that he was very negatively effected by pressure and it seriously hampered his passing. That makes the team one dimensional. That will make getting any momentum, at the NFL level, which he did not face next to impossible. While the roster he faced was very good, it was not an NFL roster. Everything happens much faster and it is much harder to figure out quickly what the defense is up to. He will, I believe be a good QB, but, it's going to be rough sledding for him for awhile. Draft him to sit behind a vet for a year. I'd be ok with that but starting him right away would be risky. He is not going to have the same protection in the NFL that he currently has most likely.
One thing I will say is his family seems amazing. I'm glad the Jets won't have a chance to ruin this kid.
I'm concerned that the Raiders will do that to him as well. There's a reason they pick before the Jets. LOL
Hey, the O linemen are traditionally the smartest guys on the team.
And inevitably the Jets play Tennessee next year for the Saleh 'revenge game'. The league will be desperate to get this into Week One.

There’s not a qb out there that the jets can’t ruin. Woody should offer brady ownership of the team to return and play here just to watch how fast he falls
Well, part of the reason is that they were smart enough to not win one more meaningless game. Brady told them not to win and they sat everyone. Then once they locked up #1, they won the last game. I’m doubting that was a coincidence

The Jets have one winner..............Glenn. I'd say that keeping his job after the miserable job he did this season qualifies him as a big winner. Of course that makes us the losers but we are used to that being the case.
