I guess these can't-miss FQBs who were going to form the top of the 2027 draft are sitting out the season. Sayin gets injured, Golden Arch comes up short again, and C J Carr fumbles a spike! inside the BYU ten yard line.

Well Sayin getting hurt pushes his draft window to 28 now.
These are kids. Often we forget it. Growing pains.
Or true colors showing?
That's the beauty of the draft.
Plus Mel Kiper is the Richard Nixon of Draft Analysts

Trade him now while he has some value if he can't produce. Omar Cooper is the new #1 WR. Actually start Klubnik and see what he has.
I don’t necessarily agree with the trading GW5 but if that happens, get what you can now for him. Now everything else your saying your on point with!

here’s what Gemini says right now:

Looking ahead to the 2027 NFL Draft class, current board projections generally include 2 to 3 quarterbacks with top-5 potential.

FOX Sports

Unlike shallower classes, the 2027 draft projection features high-upside passers vying for the top spots.

Top-5 Projected Quarterbacks for 2027

  • Drew Mestemaker (Oklahoma State): Has emerged across scouting reports as a fast riser and a consensus top-overall QB candidate. Scouts routinely project him in the top 3 (and often #1 overall) due to his pro frame, strong arm, and high processing efficiency.
    Reddit

  • Dante Moore (Oregon): Widely viewed as one of the most polished pocket passers in college football. When healthy, his anticipation, accuracy, and field vision put him firmly in the top-5 pick conversation.
  • Arch Manning (Texas): Continues to hold a high ceiling projection. While draft analysts note he is still refining consistent downfield production, his raw physical tools and pedigree keep him firmly in early top-5 and top-10 mock draft discussions.
    FOX Sports

On the Top-10 / 1st-Round Fringe

  • Darian Mensah (Miami): Has surged up boards with impressive accuracy and pocket poise, putting him on the fringe of the top 5–10 discussion.
  • C.J. Carr (Notre Dame) & Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss): Both carry strong 1st-round projections depending on how team needs shake out in the top 10 to 15 picks.

between ours and the Colts picks hard to imagine us not getting one of these guys, but whoever it is that the Jets want the most is the question

I don't want Moore.
Too many injuries early take their toll later.
I like Mensah and too a lesser extent Arch.
Mestemaker is probably going #1.
Will the Jets have it?
Looks that way but they're the Jets.
They'll win at the worst time and blow it.
Probably beat the Chiefs.

Last game of the season. At Buffalo. Lose and get the number 1 pick. Win and drop 5 spots out of the top five.
