I still think the 4 more likely players to be drafted by the Jets if they stay at #6 are Mariotta, White, Cooper, and Fowler, however, I think these 5 players are now at least somewhat more likely to be drafted as a result of recent activity
- Vic Beasley OLB Clemson - Add a top pass rusher to the mix and the defense might just be good enough to carry the whole team to the playoffs (Fowler also fits this scenario)
- Danny Shelton DT Washington - Fantastic player who could clog up the middle for the next 12 years - if we lose Kendrick Ellis, Shelton could step in with Harrison to make an awesome 1-2 punch
- Arik Armstead DE/DT Oregon - Everyone says he reminds them of Calias Campbell - Todd Bowles likes that analogy
- Landon Collins S Bama - Landon Collins is a lot like Calvin Pryor, a big in the box safety who can tackle and blitz. He's not a deep safety but hey, Bowles could figure out something to do with him
- Todd Gurley RB UGA - Yes, he's hurt, but reports are he's on track to be back to 100% by Fall. Could be an elite RB prospect and team with Ivory and Powell to give the Jets a crazy RB corps
