Eagles HC Doug Pederson
The two worked hand-in-hand during their three seasons together with the Eagles. Pederson has spoken highly of his time with Douglas and would likely be a phone call away if the Eagles fire him at the end of this season.

The Eagles were one of the best offensive teams during the onset of Pederson’s tenure, but haven’t looked the same in 2020. He’d be a great offensive coach for the Jets and whomever their quarterback is in 2021.

Ravens DC Wink Martindale
Martindale overlapped with Douglas in Baltimore from 2012-2014 when Douglas was a scout and Martindale was the linebackers coach.

Since he was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2018, Martindale’s Ravens have ranked second or third in points allowed and first, fourth and eighth in yards allowed. Hiring Martinedale would also reunite him with C.J. Mosley, who the Ravens took in the first round of the 2014 draft. Mosley played his entire Ravens career with Martindale as his coach, where he tallied 8.5 sacks, nine interceptions, 32 quarterback hits and 579 total tackles.

Bears DC Chuck Pagano
While Douglas was scouting, Pagano coached the Ravens secondary from 2008-2010 before being promoted to defensive coordinator in 2011.

Since then, Pagano has been the head coach of the Colts from 2012-2017 and has been a fantastic defensive coordinator for Douglas’ other employer – the Bears – for the past two seasons. Pagano had a 53-43 record with the Colts that included three consecutive playoff appearances from 2012-2014 with a young Andrew Luck.

Former Bengals HC Marvin Lewis
Lewis is an incredibly experienced coach who spent five seasons in Baltimore as the Ravens’ defensive coordinator from 1996-2001. He and Douglas would have overlapped early in Douglas’ scouting career, which began in 2000.

Lewis went on to become the Bengals head coach for 16 seasons with seven playoff appearances. He was fired in 2018 and spent the past two seasons with the Arizona State Sun Devils as a defensive assistant/coordinator with former Jets head coach Herm Edwards.

Eagles DC Jim Schwartz
The Eagles hired Schwartz a few months before Douglas and his defenses have had relative success in his four seasons in Philadelphia. They ranked fourth in points and yards allowed during the Eagles’ Super Bowl season in 2017 and have averaged mid-tier among NFL defenses since then.

Schwartz also has head coaching experience after coaching the Lions for five seasons from 2009-2013. He went 29-51 with only one winning season.

Eagles RB coach Duce Staley
This would be an out of left field hire for Douglas, but not necessarily a bad one. Not only does Staley coach the Eagles’ running backs, but he’s also Philadelphia’s assistant head coach. He filled in as interim head coach when Pederson missed time after testing positive for COVID-19.

Staley has been a coach with the Eagles since 2011 after retiring from his 10-year NFL career. He coached the Eagles’ insane running back group, including LeGarrette Blount, Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement, during their Super Bowl run.

Vikings OC Gary Kubiak
Kubiak, currently the Vikings offensive coordinator, has a decade of head coaching experience with the Texans and Broncos. He also crossed paths with Douglas in Baltimore when he spent the 2014 season as the Ravens’ play-caller.

Kubiak is 82-75 as a head coach and 5-2 in the playoffs, including a Super Bowl win in 2015. His current Vikings offense is 12th in points and fourth in yards this season.

Doug Pederson is likely out in Philly but don't want him as a HC but OC he would be a solid move.

If not Doug Pederson then Duce Staley as OC

Wink Martindale as DC but unlikely he is unemployed this off season so settling for Chuck Pagano as DC would be ideal and his contract is up this off season.

We need structure at the top a coach that can manage his personnel and build an atmosphere here in New York where players want to play. Unlike in Cincinnati he did not have an open wallet to spend money on free agents nor own players. Bringing Marvin Lewis as HC has been my idea for some time. Think he is the perfect fit.

HC: Marvin Lewis
OC: Duce Staley
DC: Chuck Pagano

Keep Brant Boyer as SPT Coord.
Keeping position coaches Hines Ward, Shawn Jefferson on offense since they were JD hires. and Dennard Wilson, Chip Vaughn on defense is a start moving forward. There are a few others that should be considered but not definite.

Maybe bringing in Jordan Palmer to be QB coach.
