I honestly believe we finally have a GM who really knows what he's doing. This was the best possible outcome for the Jets.
He doesn't have the final say on the HC, which to me is always a problem with the way this franchise operates. We'll see how that turns out. But Gase did get him here, so that counts for something. On the roster, Douglas has a plan and he's executing on that plan. If you don't fit the plan, you're gone. And he put together a really good scouting and personnel staff. This is the kind of trade that can change a franchise. 2 firsts, a second, and 2 thirds next year. And two firsts in 2022. Nail those picks and suddenly the Jets are legit.
