If the penalty had been committed by anyone else, we probably would not be talking about it right now. But when the penalty is committed by a player who is now in his fourth consecutive season of being notorious for these foolish blunders, the blame shifts to the coaching staff and front office for allowing him to stick around.


That reflects poorly on some combination of Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey.

Perhaps those calls were 100% Glenn, perhaps they were evenly split, but either way, it’s not a good look for a regime that was supposed to bring competent decision-making to Florham Park

From my expert perspective, I'm willing to give him a chance. There are some good signs and some of the same signs that we have had in the past. We definitely need to give him the year to see what he can do. Nobody wants to coach this shit franchise anyway so I'm not sure what the options are.

We gotta give this regime a chance to build the team in there image, whatever that may be. This doesn’t just happen in one year. It might very well take 2-3 years to do that. When the Lions current head coach started out, they sucked also. Mind you, AG was on that team then, if I’m correct.

My point being is it doesn’t always happen immediately. Sometimes and in most cases, it takes a minute. We are so quick to judge and fire everyone and it’s not always the answer. This regime deserves 2 years at least. I’d even say 3 before we start the fire everyone rants.

If that’s the case, I definitely will be but that’s doesn’t mean that I’ll want to throw in the towel on the whole regime. Like I said, I’ll give them a good two years before I’m done with them.

Remember, they inherited a terrible roster, and very little $ to work with. Over 1/3 of the salary cap is consumed by dead cap...
