As I see it they have two choices.

They can play Fields as it is an away game and the Bengals fans will probably cheer him onto the field. But if they do it has to be with some plays to get him outside the pocket, everyone knew he wasn't a pocket passer but it looks like the Jets have tried to turn him into one. It's like asking Rodgers to run Josh Allen's offense.

Play Tyrod, in which case you have to ask if Fields should be inactive and Cook should be #2. If they do this they should juice up the receiver corps by making one of our three #3s inactive (probably Lazard) and bringing in B Smith or Skinner or Woods to provide some chance of explosive plays.

Lost in all this is that the total collapse of the offense coincides with the absence of Braelon Allen and his gash runs up the middle.
