I don't think they are really tanking. They don't have to. They are actually not good enough to win games anyway, especially, with a defense that is so poor that they are actually embarrassing to watch. The result is actually the same as tanking without actually needing to tank. Glenn is actually doing the right thing now which is using this time to evaluate some players that he would otherwise not get a chance to evaluate properly unless hey did play, like Cook. It's all just a matter of perspective I guess. An example would be like thinking we could beat Buffalo this Sunday if we played Tyrod instead of Cook. Fat chance and we already know how Tyrod plays and don't need to evaluate him. So..............let the rookie play and see what he's made of.
If Cook continues to struggle I wouldn't mind seeing a quarter or two of Hooker. Might as well.
I have heard some say that only eight of the players currently starting will be doing so next season. This seems a little harsh as the O-line accounts for five.

In the last game, that O line gave up eight sacks. I think that tells us there's room for improvement.

Cignetti is not Going to the NFL , he is finally having real success, he will be 65, the boosters opened their wallets for him to get his players and he's getting $12.6 million next year.
