Ages of AFC East starting QBs

This is what I told you guys that this may be the best rookie drafted class ever. I started a thread on this awhile back in fact. The fact that the Patriots cut Newton for Jones says a lot. Cam played well during the preseason. There was no reason to cut Cam unless Belibitch was that confident in this kid. We all knew he’s done very well with his QB decisions over the past 20 years.
Now you have 3 no doubt game 1 starters from this class and we all knew Justin Fields and Trey Lance will be starting by week 8 at the latest this year. From that point on all these QBs won’t see the bench for the rest of their careers, barring injuries. That’s five bonified starters from this rookie class from their rookie year for another 15 years at least most likely. Impressive!!!

Jones out played Cam in preseason. Cam's style of play is dangerous especially as he gets older

just remember the 1983 class set the AFC East up. Jim Kelly, Tony Eason , Marino, Kenny O'Brien . All had their teams playoff competitive in short time - but in a couple cases (Eason/O'Brien)it was also short lived. Oh btw some kid named Elway was in there too. That's 3 HOFers just from the QB group alone. Current class of QBs have a lot to prove before topping that one.
Yes they do but by the looks of it, they can do it! Zach and Fields looks like they can be all world guys. Trevor looks the same if they build the team correctly around him. Lance has some growth to do but his potential is out of this world. Jones with Belibitch and the OC that will be the future HC by his side, there’s no telling how good this kid can be.
How the team is build around all these guys and their coaching goes without saying but that’s the same for all QBs of any generation.
Lets give it a few weeks first lol
