Well, looks like Mikey is going to Dallas. No doubt he corrects all of Prescott's flaws as well as the rest of that team. He should have been hired over Gase last year. SOJ.

Still bothers me. Especially after how he left Miami in shambles, I could never resolve why the Johnson idiots chose Gase over McCarthy. Just seemed like a no brainer. Why wouldn't they take a chance on a proven commodity like McCarthy? Pisses me off.
I agree but as I always say.....winners win & losers lose......Watch the Miami coach I think he will be a good to great one.

tell you what i know.. woody & woody's brother have no idea what they are doing..
never have.. never gotten any better.. never stopped making the same dumb decisions..
never backed off the ridiculous power stucture they hold on to like grim death..

Although I think he is better than Gase, he also had one of the top 3 QB's of all time and won 1 fucking SB. ONE!! He got to the playoffs a lot because Rodgers hides lot of flaws. He also had many early exits in the playoffs like after they went 15-1. He has lost 3 of 4 NFC championship games. I will say this McCarthy got a way better roster with the Cowboys with a helicopter owner. When Jerry hires someone then I immediately know that HC is a yes man with no voice. At the end of the day, he has underachieved with a HOF QB so he should fit in perfectly with the Cowboys and follow in the footsteps of Garrett. With all that said I wish the Jets would have hired McCarthy over Gase, but I didn't want either of them.

Looking at some of these posts and anything less than say, an NFC championship game might seem like a failure for such a coach and that roster.

That Pittsburgh game still gets me depressed. I will never understand how our D came out looking like they had never seen a football before. We were down by, what, 30(?) before i finished my first drink. They looked lost and no one could make a stop or tackle. Then we come all the way back only to watch Ben make a killer play to seal the win. Damn it.

We will never know what the roster would look like had he been hired. Gase pushed for Polite, didn't want to pay for Paradis, who knows what input he would have had on the roster. More importantly how he would have developed Darnold.
