How many decades of stinking does he get before the Jets can finally get rid of him, then?
We've already pissed away two years

I agree. I have said many times I have little faith Geno is our long term answer but he will not be cut in season.
What you just posted is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that even vaguely resembled a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
That's the only way I can respond to someone who thinks that a QB competition is being drummed up by Jets fans and the CS is giving into it. What's even worse is that the response attempts to make fun by saying somehow Jets fans are guilty of making Geno Smith fail.
Via Todd Bowles words himself, Fitz has a chance to win the starting job. That constitutes a QB competition whether you think it does or not.
Jets fans have nothing to do with Geno Smith's poor play. Geno Smith being in this predicament is 100% his own fault. Fans rant about his poor play and they have every right to do just that. They still root for their team and they care that it is run in such a manner that it will succeed.
Try reading some of your posts......getting tired of your act.
It's really not the fault of Jet fans who have seen Smith the past two seasons and don't want anymore.
Not their fault that he led us to 27th in QBR and 32nd in redzone scoring
I'm sorry if such a point of view is upsetting to some here at JFU.
Geno Smith appears to be the starter against the Browns. As a fan, I'm rooting for him to play well. He's shown that he's capable of playing well. This is yet another case of extremes with some parts our fan base. I noticed how Geno's last 4-5 games aren't mentioned much, when he actually showed considerable improvement compared to the rest of the season.
I'm not saying he hasn't stunk at times. And I'm not sure he's the answer. But he's going into the season as our starter, with Brandon Marshall, a better defense, and an OC who's more suited to his style of play. I'll reserve judgment until a month or so into the season. I'm not going to kill the guy before it's even started.
I am fine with a friendly wager. What are the parameters of ultimately failing?
You, too?
This Geno Smith slaying is nonsense. Some fans are rooting for him to fail just to satisfy their egos. They want him to fail for the benefit of saying "I told ya so".
Good job Jets fans! Way to root for the guy starting at QB for our team. Way to assume the worst, just like that piece of trash Manish Mehta.
:clapping-bravo-smil
How about if Geno is on the roster at the beginning of the 2016 season and is still the starter, you win the bet. If he's benched, or not on the team, I win. The loser pays the board $50. DEAL?

Sounds like your just being fair and actually thoughtful. If he opens as the starter , that means he has the support of the coaching staff. From there, it will be up to him to not crash the Benz

Does every post by some people here have to demean other posters?
Noticing a pattern with a few posters myself..........
I'm glad fans on this board are not coaching the Jets!!
Does every post by some people here have to demean other posters?
Yeah , definitely
Goes both ways, not just the way some guys want it
Yeah, really
Didn't mention anyone in my post but Sanchez, Tebow, and Geno ....hope their not offended
And the post wasn't about Tebow throwing ( reading comprehension ) it was about a ball Geno tossed off Tebows helmet
Yeah I'm serious
Are other "posters" serious when they say how "good" Geno will be?
