Many, many, years ago, I majored in computer programming for my first semester in colleg. It only took the one semester to realize that I hated computers.

one thing that I do remember learning was the basic if/then statement.

If the Jets offense sucks, then the jets defense will be good.
If the jets offense is good, then the jets defense will suck

Look. This team is not going to the superbowl this season.there are too many good teams. The jets aren’t the Chiefs or Ravens. They may not even be the bills or dolphins in our own division. Texans, Chargets, Jaguars, Bengals? They may not even be the Steelers

so what happens next? Are they improved enough by years end to make you believe that next season they make a serious run.
At best, this happens and then what? Most likely Rodgers is gone, win or lose and the jets are back to nothing.
At worst, they have a typical jet season and the whole thing is blown up and started over again

yes, I understand that the 9ers are damn good and can do the same thing to a lot of team. Point is, the Jets are not in that leagu. They have never proven a thing and, “ on paper”, means nothing. They are a team , among many other teams, that if they get on a run, has a shot at a wild card

LOL, man we have to get off of the panic train. It's one game, against on of the best teams in the league, not to mention it's Saleh's mentor (who clearly knows all of his moves).

The offense will take time to gel, we just need to keep everyone healthy and moving in the right direction. The defense seems to be the one area Saleh can adapt and adjust, so lets give him a few games to see if he can fix this. By mid season "if healthy", we should see what this offense can really do and if it's built right or if they are frauds.

Shannahan is a better coach, that much has always been clear LOL.

The defense looked horrible, but that is probably the only area that I have some faith that Saleh and Ulbrich can fix.

We aren't one of the better teams. I bet we are right around middle of the pack that will have to play every game just to have a shot at the playoffs.
