Bears release Slauson

Im drawing blank as to who's playing RG for us as of right now. I think it's possible for us to cut Breno, put Qvale at RT and have Slauson play guard. We have Rex Hogan as our scout so he definitely knows a lot about Slauson and the rest of the Bears. Prob why we have Marshall and Forte.

thats right. Not sure if Slauson is worth the $ over Winters.
He is. He and Howard should not have been let go.
Slauson at RT would cost the Jets less than 1/2 of what we're paying Breno with better quality at the position.

So if the Jets were to sign him, who would start? I guess you'd have to make Slauson the starter, but Winters played quite well for us after a few immediate bad games. Slauson has no place with the Jets IMO. he's certainly not going to upend Carpenter. The signing would be only be for depth and there's no way Slauson would accept a back up role.
hasn't slauson been an interior lineman his entire career?? he certainly was with us..

Yeah, I don't think he's ever played RT and of he were to be tried out there? The results would be disastrous.

Slauson was traded to the Jets by the Packers before the season even began, he was so bad.
The Packers always keep their rookie draft picks, but Slauson was just that awful.
Now CHI cuts him before they've even met his rookie replacement.
Doesn't that tell you anything?
