Marshawn Lynch says that the media will prevent him from getting into Canton. Is he a Hall of Fame player? I think it's debatable but I'd vote no. He's been at the top for a while now. He runs tough and is always among the league leaders in TDs for the past few seasons but he just doesn't have the overall #s . He is ranked 39th all time in rushing yards and unless he continues at a high level over the next three years, he will not get in.
I bolded the part where he blames the media. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000439447/article/marshawn-lynch-media-could-prevent-hall-of-fame-bid

Marshawn Lynch's future after this season remains a mystery, but the Seahawks star has allowed himself to think about his legacy.
In an interview that will air on NFL GameDay First and NFL GameDay Morning on Sunday, Lynch told his former teammate Michael Robinson that his relationship with football scribes could prevent him from ever having a bust in Canton.
"You know who votes for that," Lynch quipped. "They don't seem to ... see eye to eye with me -- which is cool. And if I'm not, (expletive), I'll still live."
Lynch already has four career playoff games with at least 100 rushing yards in addition to one of the defining postseason plays of his generation. He's also cruising toward his fifth Pro Bowl selection.
Much like Jamaal Charles, another great back from the current era, Lynch's Hall of Fame chances will hinge on the next two-to-three years.
That assumes, of course, that Lynch continues. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport has reported multiple times that Lynch is considering walking away from the game at age 28. Rapoport reported that Lynch has confided in teammates about his retirement thoughts, just like he did a season ago.
Robinson asks Lynch about his desire for privacy and what running backs he loves to watch in the NFL among other topics. The full interview will air during NFL GameDay Morning.
