I think we can all agree Bell has not been a good fit for the team in terms of how he runs and how our line is built - not to mention we are zone block and he comes from Pitt which was zone run. Clearly Powell and Ty are having better success. So my thought is why not line Bell up as a WR going forward for the rest of the season. Pitt used to do it all the time, and frankly for us, given our crappy receiving core (Crowder is exception), it could only help. Furthermore, it would mean we could get Bell on the field at the same time Powell and Ty are playing RB.
I dont get why we havent done this, let alone we havent really done this all season - Pitt used to do it all the time. Used to drive teams crazy to cover Bell and AB in the secondary. It is one of the reasons Bell always thought he should be paid like a WR.
