You may be confusing [MENTION=559]Mainejet[/MENTION] with someone else. I seem to recall his posts as being pro-jets. Although being from New England, one does have to be careful how criticisms of the Jets are phrased.

Thank you. They may be sharply critical of the Jets and for that I make no apologies. They earned it. But I am 100% Jets fan through and through.
And for the future, Cys porch or whatever your name is.... If you do not like my posts DON'T READ THEM. Put me on ignore if you like. I could personally care less if you do.

Come on MJ! I am a Rex supporter and thought he was done wrong here in recent years with the crappy investment on offense and just recently, the secondary, but Rex had more than enough time here to do his thing. He was a master motivator and defensive genius but just wasn't enough.

I think Woody this time around made solid choices to run this franchise, let's just hope he stays away and doesn't ask for a Tebow-esque trade.

But it is more pervasive than that. Even Mike Tannenbaum was a f*cking dingbat that doomed this team to be completely devoid of talent. Yes, Rex was here a long time. But the fact sill remains if you do not have the horses you CANNOT win.
And speaking directly to Rex Ryan...He gets fired just one season after going 8-8 with a team that was far LESS talented then even 2014. That was a coaching year for the ages. He truly turned water into wine in 2013 and yet our idiot owner fired him because he didn't want to face the music of his own misdeeds himself. facing the music himself constitutes being a MAN. Something I doubt our trust fund twerp was ever forced to do.
he's even managed to exacerbate the situation now. By our idiot owner firing him, he IMMEDIATELY got swallowed up by the Buffalo Bills. A team that can recognize talent when they see it. NOW, our rookie HC has to face this guy TWICE a season. And you know damn well Rex Ryan is going to have REVENGE on his mind.
It will be some sort of miracle of our owner ever learns not to sh*t on the floor.

Fine -- you were not the only one upset that Rex was canned but you cannot be all that upset with the new regime. From what I have read about them, they were both great hires.

At this point, their draft will consist of Vernon Gholston at number 6, Vlad Ducasse in the 2nd round, Anthony Schlegel in the 3rd, Jalen Saunders in the 4th, Joe McKnight in the 5th and complete garbage that won't last a week in camp in the 6th and 7th. Face it this team sucks a fat one and they are going to be the laughingstocks of the league.[/B]

I really like Rex with all his faults as well as MJ.. However it's time to move on and I'm excited about Mac and Bowles plus with the right draft and FA's plus Geno learning to only throw td's to players with the same Jersey as him maybe we have a shot at the Playoffs.The Fin's went form 1-15 to 11-5 and won the East in a Brady-less year with Chaddy cakes as their QB..

I was a little abusive of the new newbies and that for that I apologize. I really have no idea what this guy brings to the table. But I can tell you from watching the league for years, it's very hard to find a good HC. We already had a known commodity in Rex Ryan. A guy that KNEW X's and O's, could strategize, gameplan, and would go tit for tat with the best HC in the league twice a season. It's not that hard to envision this newbie not being anywhere near as talented as Rex Ryan, more like Herm Edwards.
