after this year we will only have 3 receivers under contract...
we also have need for a new center because the best one in year's is available...
right tackle and right guard can be gotten in rounds two and three deep draft...
we need tight ends, plenty of options this upcoming draft...
we will sign a EDGE LB and/or DE in FA...
22 new starters. New CS. New GM. Other than that the Jets are right there.

What exactly did you guys expect. This was a bad team that went out and drafted an inexperienced QB then started him . the secondary is young and learning on the job and the best part of the team, the front 7 is hurting and suffering due to the poor offensive production and the amount of time spent on the field weekly .
Why won't this fan base ever learn to be patient . Just because you have been waiting for 50 years doesn't mean you have patience . It takes time to build and develop a program and it hurts at the start .

bad coaching not bad team... a competent coach would accentuate the talent on the field and maximize what they are capable of doing...
knowing what Zach is good at LaFleur tries to make him into something he is not while dialing up plays that won't threaten the defense because the players current on the OL can not successfully execute the blocking assignments...
so instead of incorporating a less frantic blocking scheme to allow the running backs to set the tone with their athleticism and speed would open up Corey Davis, Denzel Mims, Elijah Moore to threaten mid to deep passing attack where Zach is proficient...
Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios command the short to intermediate passing routes along with whatever we have at tight end...
If the offense could stay on the field for more than 2 minutes then the defense can regroup, settle down and continue to attack... But that is not the case and guarantee first three plays for the seventh game against the Bengals will be two runs and attempt a pass because LaFleur believes in his offensive prowess as did that other Brilliant Offensive Mind....
when the head coach comes out to his post game presser and states it starts with the coaches, that is a hint that the coaches need to put the players in better position to succeed... we really needed Greg Knapp he would of held LaFleur in check, apparently Matt Cavanaugh has no say or standing to calm down and help the offense because LaFleur thinks he is as good as his brother and his former boss Kyle Shanahan...

(1) Safety Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame (Ball Hawk Safety - rangy and physical)
(1) Center Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa (continue the OL rebuild) - Can keep McGovern and move him to RG for one season if need be or trade him...
(2) Right Tackle Darian Kinnard Kentucky (George Fant reverts back to swing tackle)
(2) Tight End Isaiah Likely Coastal Carolina ( Kroft, Griffin, Wesco, Brown <<< Garbage ) Likely receiving TE - on same potential as Kyle Pitts coming from a small school
(3) Tight End Trey McBride Colorado State ( well rounded tight end, can block, can catch and can run )

patriots were a bad team who drafted a rookie Qb and started him. they have some old guys who sat out a year with covid and should be over the hill now, yet they look so much better than us that it seems we are playing two different sports. while they are 3-4 , they could easily be 6-1 and they just beat us worse than brady ever did
what hope have we been given so far?
our defense has shown a few glimpses here and there that they know what sport they are playing.

and Salah in the post game looked like he's ready to give back his money and book a one way back to Cali
